Are they just too tiny to carry anything? I want a Post Pouch. Do you think the Post Pouches are much bigger than the Winnies? I've never seen either in real life.
The Winnie is pretty small. It can't hold all that much. But its just so darn cute. The Post Pouch can hold a little bit more but not much more. Because it is round, you lose some carrying capacity, so it looks like it can carry more than it can. Small items have to be put in first to take up the very bottom and anything wider can only really go in the middle of the bag. I have better carrying capacity in the Bella Court because it is slightly wider, with a straight part at the bottom, so that allows the bottom to be better utilized, instead of being slightly wasted space.

You’re right. I’m going to be quiet from now on and I’m really sorry from the bottom of my heart to @Busykitty if I alerted the masses, including those who would message the seller (if that’s what really happened). NEVER AGAIN! It’s sad I even have to be careful about this though, though I think I always lean a little idealistic. Anyway. This is why this little world is so cut-throat like you said.
Don't feel bad, I don't think you have altered anything. I was curious about the Facebook group mentioned several times here, so went there lurking around a little bit. Sure enough the sold Pony Express was posted there and asking if anyone there got it? Won't surprise me if one of the pro resaler there decided to play dirty and steal the deal from other buyer.
ETA: the facebook post was about 4 hrs earlier than yours.

I feel thats like shooting yourself in the foot. If they alert the seller by offering more, the seller can just look up how much the comp listings are for and list it for that much. It seems like a case of “If I can’t have it nobody else can either”. They essentially want to see it listed for more just to make sure the person who originally bought it wouldn’t get the bag. How shady and tasteless. Its just a bag, I don’t get why some people can’t just be happy for the person who scored the great deal instead of getting jealous :yucky:

Or, maybe they are selling the same bag for more and they don't want the competition.

My guess is the seller not know the style name of Pony Express, thus couldn't check the average sold price. (listing is gone now & can't remember what it was listed as). As vintage Coach fans, we love to find good deals, also happy for others who score big. But for someone who care less about collecting and only focus on profit, could be a different mentality. Common courtesy may not be a thing for them.

Holy mackerel! You got a Winnie for 35 bucks?! Wow! They sell for 10 times that or more. I found a navy/white spectator court bag for $88 and saw another one just like it for $350 listed st the same time. I went ahead and snapped it up. It was authentic and looked like it’d never been used when I got it.

I found a Winnie for $4 at a flea market! That made me believe anything is possible.
I found a cream one for $76 on ebay, but I had just discovered my black one was kind of useless so I didn’t want a second one.
They are for a small bag collector.

Lip balm, cash, cards, purse pack of tissues, car fob lol.I am away for a few days. I can do *what’s in my bag* - Winnie when I get home.

They are darn cute. I wouldn’t say no to another for $20 bucks. I have given myself permission to collect small bags.
I am convinced my best options for a hard to bag at a steal are thrifting or at a flea market. Which I am on a break from for a few months.

Omigosh. A $4 Winnie, that's incredible. It pays to go around the flea markets and garage sales. I learned while collecting first edition books that any thing can be anywhere. Just gotta go find it.

And we know there's at least one reseller who reads this and other Coach threads on a regular basis, and is famous for buying low and selling at obscenely high prices. Someone who's only motive is profit probably wouldn't have any qualms at all about contacting a seller and snatching a badly listed or too-low priced bag right from under the nose of someone else, even if the bag had already been paid for. And I'm sure that some resellers like that would feel even more smug about it if it was a tPF member who got screwed. Don't expect common courtesy from someone who's main motivation is greed.

Think about it.

Any time you get a super-great deal, keep it to yourself until the item is actually IN YOUR HANDS. We're probably being stalked here, and doesn't it seem that this kind of thing has been happening more often recently? Regardless of who's doing it, anyone who brags about their great deal before it's complete stands a chance of someone stealing it right out from under them.
