So, here's a situation, small courier popped up for a steal, there were 2 exact listings for the same bag, bought one. Thought they'd realize the error when the bag sold and take the other listing down. Well than the other listing sold. Uh oh! Now what? I sent them a message about the situation. Technically I bought it first, but who knows what's gunna happen.

If you paid, she's obligated (by policy) though ebay can't force her to send it. But if she cancels and is honest about the reason, she'll get a defect.

Wow, such drama! I went from being furloughed to working crazy shifts for nine days in a row and just now found the time to catch up. @Busykitty, wtf, so sorry! It's just bags, but I can feel your elation then severe disappointment. I'm very frustrated-by-proxy for you, how awful!
Dear Coach intern monitoring social media: Just bring them back in vintage quality at a reasonable price point and spare us the heartache.
I've looked at the public Facebook group too and feel very lucky to have found the bags that I have. I had no idea the cult following was that big and ferocious!

I just watched a youtube video of a woman comparing a Hermes Evelyne to a vintage Coach 9966 Legacy bag (think I got that right, it was a precaffine watch) and she said the quality of the leather was equal. The Evelyne held a bid more, but she liked that the Coach could be dunked. Honestly if she had used the Coach bag’s zippered pocket instead of all the pouchettes she had her small items in because the Evelyne is just one big compartment with no pockets, the Coach would have held more. So vintage Coach is just known for its quality and they should go back to that.

Im in Canada so I don’t use mercari but Ive seen some people on this thread mention that they show sold listings and I believe someone said “I don’t wanna see what I missed out on” or something like that. Honestly thats so stupid on mercari’s end. If a listing is sold, why are you still advertising it? It takes away from people who got a good deal cause buyers can just message the seller offering more. @Busykitty Im also sorry for chiming in about what a lucky find it was. I apologize as well!

I just watched a youtube video of a woman comparing a Hermes Evelyne to a vintage Coach 9966 Legacy bag (think I got that right, it was a precaffine watch) and she said the quality of the leather was equal. The Evelyne held a bid more, but she liked that the Coach could be dunked. That's Just Jennifer and I've also watched the video, with very conflicting feelings. I was super happy to see vintage Coach getting the recognition they deserve, but also I thought 'Nooooooo, now that's ruining the prices for all of us who already knew how great they are!'
And yes, I look at my super thick, luscious glowy purple Ergo, not a stitch out of place, and I genuinely don't think that H is any better.

If its not the default setting, I can see how someone might start scrolling and come across sold listings without realizing you can check a box to remove them. Oh wow, they’re basically turning into depop with the ridiculous tags then!

I got into vintage coach because of a video I got recommended where the girl was sharing her collection. I remember thinking “wow I wish I had a collection like that”. Lo and behold, a few months later and Ive collected almost every bag in her video except the top handle ones! Im thanking the coach gods for allowing me to grab some good deals while I could, I just bought a bag for $140 this week- I Probably could have gotten it for 70-100 had it been a few months ago lol

This was one of my worst fears on my $35 Winnie purchase. I had it authenticated here and then many posters were commenting on how that was such a steal and they saw them go for a alot more. While I appreciated the sentiment and excitement greatly, on the inside I was thinking, EVERYBODY SHHHHH!!!! At least for a couple of days until she ships! I didn't want her to stumble on this site and see her listing posted here and read what everyone was saying and have a change of heart!

Holy mackerel! You got a Winnie for 35 bucks?! Wow! They sell for 10 times that or more. I found a navy/white spectator court bag for $88 and saw another one just like it for $350 listed st the same time. I went ahead and snapped it up. It was authentic and looked like it’d never been used when I got it.

Having owned 2 Kellys and a Birkin (I had a financially stupid period in my life) I really don’t get the hype. I liked the bags, but the leather, in my opinion, wasn’t anything to write home about and it is super finicky. You can’t get a drop of Moisture on it and the corners wear horribly. Now I have a few Kelly and birkin type bags I bought in Florence that are well made and a fraction of the price that I love and use.

I think it's a marketing tactic for them. It feeds the frenzy. At least for me, when I see what I missed out on because I wasn't frantically checking the site then I start frantically checking the site.

I haven’t seen a post pouch in real life and keep hesitating on getting one for fear it will be as small as the Winnie. If the Winnie were 1/4 to 1/2 inch wider it would be useful to me, but at its size, my neither my old iphone 6 nor my new SE (which is the same size as the 6) will not fit in the back slip pocket. A bigger phone wouldn’t fit inside either, but mine will. However putting the phone inside takes up a good amount of space So not much else besides keys and maybe a very small wallet would fit And I am doubtful on getting all 3 in at once. The interior slip pocket is basically useless it is so narrow. I can pack a Regina, but the Winnie just won’t hold much. I think when measurements of it are given, they add in the protruding edges, which are not useable space so it is smaller than you would think. I fear the Post Pouch gets measured including the dowel so it too would be smaller than expected.

Plus the strap on the Winnie, is too short for me to comfortably wear crossbody. I can do it, but it really needs to be 2-3 inches longer for my liking (now I have a larger chest so that factors in), but I expected it to have a Willis length strap an It doesn’t.

I believe there is a box further down the page where you can select the brand, Coach, and that will eliminate most of the extraneous stuff.

I did. I paid immediately, lol, my husband asked if I wanted him to call ebay and cause a stink, I told him to calm down it wasn't that serious. It is what it is. Just not a good weekend for buying bags apparently.
