I always feel that at least two pieces establish a set however I’m stuck trying to determine my next pieces. Im adding the Perlee signature next year and beyond that I’m stuck. I I’m thinking I need to get wg pave pendant so that I have interchangeable piece to wear with my wg pieces. The butterflies are on my list I just can’t commit to earrings or ring so I’m stuck. Also I’m thinking I’m heading into the too many Alhambra bracelets territory as I have few SO I want to request once it opens back up.
Would you consider the WG pave butterfly pendant? That would be a nice start to the butterfly collection.

If you like the general idea of a set and don't think you're ready yet for rings or earrings and feel you may be (eventually after SOs) at the upper limit of Alhambra bracelets maybe get that pave pendant in either of your preferred golds? My reasoning: you have a lovely collection of Alhambra bracelets and some are in rose gold, so by adding the pendant (which you mentioned you are considering anyway) you will complete at least two or three sets just by grabbing that. It can also work with your rg sweet Perlee bangle so that is another pairing. The same could be said for the reverse for the wg pendant you mentioned: you have several perlee wg and Alhambra bracelets so this will also work. Either/or and I think that may also then satisfy your "set/pairing" desire.

I’m definitely leaning towards the wg pave pendant as I have gmop pendant and lucky pendant already. I didn’t want to have tons of pendants.

Hi! My honest opinion... I think you're forcing yourself to love more VCA pieces just to "buy". I think you have enough Alhambra pieces, unless your goal is to just pile on Alhambra, which of course, piling on Alhambra is pure preference.

For me, a well rounded jewelry collection is more than just Alhambra, which can get a big logo-y piled on, and then it all starts to look the same. That's just me.

You already have a lot of gorgeous pieces, and I think you will not wear a tiny little pendant. I don't think it's enough wow factor for you. I know it isn't for me. I'd rather wear earrings and have a clean neckline than wear a tiny pendant which I think takes away from your nice earrings. Again, that's just me.

For bangles, I think having two bangles makes a nice set. Aside from doubling up the same piece (e.g. buying two of the same bangle), the best combo to me is the Clover and Single Row.

If you have to have the Signature bangle, this one is a bit tougher to pair with either the Clover or Single row in my opinion. For me, if I had to have the Signature bangle, I would go all out with this shiny metal look. For you, I would buy two or even three (since you like to stack) of the Signature bangle and make a stack of matching "all gold" bangles. If you like all gold pieces, a stack of matching "all gold" bangles is a great look and goes with everything. If you want to mix is up, you could get a Signature and the little Perlee Pearls of Gold bead bangle. Or for a wider stack, get two Signatures, and one Perlee Pearls of Gold, and wear the Pearls of Gold in between. It would make kind of a "shiny flat metal" (Signature) and "shiny beads" (Pearls of Gold) theme.

Just my two cents. Hope this helps you decide. Good luck!

Start with the earrings. They are so easy to wear and combine if you get multiple pairs to you can mix and match. The butterflies are very small and I do not wear the butterfly pendants with the butterfly earrings because it is quite small. They are good to mix and match with most of the flower collections

So I already have the WG Perlee Clover & D’or. I have RG Sweet so was looking to pair the Signature in RG with that to use as daily stack. I don’t want a super wide stack and the Perlee are too metal heavy to double stack for me. What are your thoughts about the Sweet and signature together?

I just checked and it's available for purchase on the EU website, so not rare or hard to get

but if you want mother-of-pearl why not just the one without diamonds? they're more affordable, also not rare or hard to get, I believe

also the motifs with the diamonds flip if you wear the bracelet loose. they don't look like that on both sides
Thank you so much! I will check them out :)

Since you already have the RG Sweet and are looking for another RG bangle, I would get the RG Single Row. For me, I would not stack the Sweet with the Signature as it's going to look really metal heavy. That's a lot of shiny metal, and the Sweet's motifs & diamonds are so tiny, you mainly see that strip of polished metal. I would add a bangle that has more art and bling to pair the Sweet.

Here are two photos to help.
In the first photos, see how the single row adds to the beauty of the Sweet and stack? They are both supporting actors and shine equally. My opinion of course.
In the second photo, see how the Signature just takes over with all that shiny metal? The Sweet is now a bit lost as is the elegance. The eye goes right to the shiny metal Signature bangle.

I think with the Single Row, it allows the Sweet to stay well, "sweet" and in focus as part of the stack.

I struggle with purchasing earrings because I seem to live in my studs. That’s the only pause as I have never worn the VCA earrings I own.

Hello all! I’m not sure if this is the right thread to ask but I’m stuck! (First world problems) 😅View attachment 6049985
Which carnelian piece do I go for! The sweet or vintage. I love them both!!
@chris.y Both are beautiful on you but I like the vintage stacked with sweets more because two different sizes stacked together look more interesting and appealing visually imo.

@missie1 Its so easy to fall into that zone of completing sets rather than buying what we truly want and will wear. I know I have been guilty of the same innumerable times myself! I love a piece, buy it and then torture myself on how to buy another piece to complete the set (like you, I like sets of twos). Case in point, my butterfly and pave BTF ring is my solo WMOP butterfly piece and I know at some point I want to add the matching pendant but I am not ready for it yet even though my heart tells me to run and grab the pendant and complete the ‘set’. Thankfully, my brain is stronger than my heart these days so logic prevails! Good thing that VCA pieces all go well with one another reducing the need to find the ‘exact’ match for each piece!

But, back to you!
Do you like pendants? Do you foresee yourself owning multiple ones and wearing them tons? If not, let the pave WG pendant go from your ‘absolutely must-have’ WL and put it in the ‘maybe’ zone.
Earrings and rings can wait till you decide which butterfly piece you would like to add.
That leaves bracelets. I know you are planning on getting the signature perlee bracelet. If you are 100% sure on that piece, would you consider getting it in WG this year instead?

And I agree on the Alhambra overload! You already have such stunning Alhambra 5-motifs, you don’t ‘need’ another one right now! My vote is to get the WG signature perlee bracelet unless you already own it?

Also, I find it very useful to maintain an excel spreadsheet of all pieces I own and categorize them by both (separately), designs (e.g. Alhambra, JUC, Serpenti, Perlee etc.) and types (Necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets and watches). When I see it all laid out visually on the spreadsheet, it’s easier to identify gaps in my collection and also see which designs or types I have too many of so I can avoid redundancy.

Sorry for the long post! I am excited to see what you decide to add next! I love and admire your style!

It’s great to hear how others go about organizing and prioritizing their collections. It really helps me organize the madness in my head lol. I love all your pieces they are perfect. Now I don’t love pendants I just think they are easy but I don’t want to have 5 of them. I’m not even a necklace person tbh. I was leaning towards the wg pave as I don’t have anything to wear with my wg bangles or Alhambra bracelets. The Turquoise earrings don’t count because I never reach for them.

So here is my bangle thought process. I currently wear two yg loves daily and would like to have RG daily set to switch to. As I already have RG sweet figured add RG signature and that completes another set. My wg Clover and D’or feel dressy to me and not everyday pieces. Adding the wg signature to pair with the RG sweet when I already have the other two wg Perlee still leaves my RG sweet without a matching bangle.

Jumping in to suggest…

If I remember correctly, you already wear diamond studs (and have a second piercing?). If that is the case, would you consider not wearing a necklace at all?

If you know you are not a necklace person, I don’t think you should spend $$$$ to buy a pave pendant. I think your ear candy and arm candy would make a statement enough that you could leave the neck bare (except on the days you wear the pieces you already own).

I’m in the same predicament as I’m wanting to add a pave VCA pendant (WG Frivole or WG VA), but trying to determine if I am a pendant person… ha.
