Exactly ! I haven’t looked at the tcw so I am sure there is a big difference between the two, but I was surprised how much more I liked the Lotus.

It is twice as much tcw of diamonds and fewer of them (meaning larger ones) but the overall effect is not worth the price difference to me (but like I said, I’m not in the market for a pair anyway so it’s easy for me to judge lol).

Hi, I wanted to ask for opinion. I currently have guilloche 5 motif, earrings and pendant. I also have blue agate 5 motif and earrings. If I were to get only one 10 motif ever, should I go for guilloche or hammered? Thank you

I vote hammered. It will mix and match great with a lot of other pieces (including your agate) and is a classic.

I know there are tpfers who don’t love the Lotus earrings but I have always loved the design. I have the small and find them so wearable.

I never looked at the 3 flower design as I already have the Socrate (in both yg and wg), so it seemed repetitive.

Fast forward to last week and a quick trip into a boutique. I tried on the wg 3 flower Lotus and I was wowed ! I didn’t end up getting them because I have a large earring collection and really how many pairs of earrings do I need?

However, just between us although I’ve never been a ring girl I might have walked out a ring.

I agree with you that the Lotus earrings are very pretty. The 3 Flower ones are gorgeous in person, as is the similar Lotus BTF ring. However, the 3 Lotus earrings are not something I felt I would wear that often (and heavy), so I have not seriously considered them despite admiring them!

Did you take home a ring? Or just thinking about one?

Thank you for sharing this photo. I’ve always been curious about the snowflake earrings (even though for me, budget-wise, it’s never gonna happen). I’m surprised at their size. They cost almost twice as much as the lotus 3 flower but as you said, the lotus has a nicer impact.

I agree with you. Value for money, the Lotus are beautiful and have a lot of impact.
