I know that not everyone has access to a store ... but if you do, it's best to have items shipped to store where you can pick them up at your convenience. A lot less stress if you can do it.

Also agree that the OP should do a chargeback. I've found that taking that action prompts everyone else to move faster. Maybe that's just my perception but it seems to be the case.

Mine left mine in a cow field one time. You know, where my family has COWS. They look dumb and ungainly but man they can move when they want to! Got lucky I found it before they'd found it and stomped all over it. My reaction on calling delivery co?:cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing:

Lol! Its funny now but man i was P/$$÷D!!! I found it next to a random metal pole in the field, luckily my fil had just cut hay too and it was easier to see than normal! :hrmm:

This was absolute insanity, lol! People are crazy, and it's so sad that so many don't care about personal and professional integrity nor the customer.

Right? I don't care if it's an lv bag or random DVD from China. You have 1 job! Please do it the way you would want YOUR products delivered. Well, I lie I do care if it's an lv v. a DVD I won't lie:P
 
That has got to be one of thee worst things to experience when expecting delivery, nonetheless a very expensive purchase!!! Speaking of UPS, they made an 'update' in their system but it wreaked havoc and sent many purchases to the wrong locations! I had 3 packages I was tracking and it was statused as "delivered in the garage" so I called UPS and gave them an earful, my packages were sent to the west end (I'm in the North end of my location!) what made me really mad was the residents it got delivered to, they OPENED my packages, all 3!!!! Luckily UPS was able to recover the other 2 parcels, 2 pairs of Birkenstock sandals I had ordered. The first package that was sent on Monday to them, they opened it! Apparently the couple called the company (of my purchase) and they were told to donate, keep or give away and they would be sending me a replacement at no charge but yet the couple still had the audacity to open my other packages knowing my 1st package was mistakenly delivered to them. I think from now on, any UPS deliveries I will probably pay the extra cost to have it held at a UPS store, it was such a headache and a hassle trying to track over $300 in retail purchases :sick::sick::sick: I'm sorry I didnt mean to hijack your thread, I really hope you can recover your purchase or get your $$$ back, good-luck and keep us updated!
 
Update: contacted my credit card company and requested a charge back, they said I definitely qualify.

As for LV and UPS, NO UPDATES! I’ve called them both and they have no information until the investigation will be completed, and this can take up to 14 business days. Which means that I’m still out of an item and out of my money for the time being.

I’m sorry this still hasn’t been resolved. I don’t think it’s right, LV refusing to refund until their “investigation” is complete. When they (whoever it is, LV or UPS) lost my nano Speedy I had to speak to so many different people until someone FINALLY called UPS and talked to them. This was days after i asked them to open an investigation.

I have no patience for things like these so I kept calling until someone finally got things moving. you made the right call calling your CC company. If they drag their feet, which they are, you just have to take matters into your own hands.

By the way, the investigation into my lost shipment wasn’t closed until a whole month after I got my replacement nano speedy.

How horrible... LV is seriously lacking in their customer service department.... I remember your speedy ordeal, and I was happy to hear that they finally found another for you. From the many responses to this thread, it seems as though LV had had many issues with UPS. Given the repeated issues with their shipping company of choice, you would think that they would have developed a better policy/process when issues arise and not a never ending lack luster investigation.

It’s too obvious and reasonable for them to develop better policies! There have been so many issues you really would think these issues would be quick to resolve. But nope. That’s too easy!
 
I'm really curious to see what will happen from lv side. because normally the law is on their side when you accepted the package like that.
otherwise everyone can say the box was damaged and empty and they have the purse or what ever for free

I hope you get a new Card holder or your Money back but from lv side I think you should Show a bit Patience .. lucky you it wasnt much Money like a purse or something like that.
