UPS delivered an EMPTY box!

I am so sorry that this happened to you. Some one who works at the hub probably knows the package is being sent from LV and probably stole it between transport. What state did this happen at? I noticed that there are two labels on the shipment box. One with just a indistinct sender name and another one that has the LV label on them. This makes me think that if your box had two labels on it the worker would have known the item was being sent from Louis Vuitton. I wish they didn’t attach the second label to make it more discreet so this doesn’t happen in the future.
This was sent from New Jersey to Montreal Canada. I’m sure it happened at some point with UPS, whoever opened the box knew exactly what they were going to find.

My Birkin from The RealReal was being delivered today and I went directly to their location and picked it up myself. I always do that when I order items from LV, Gucci, etc. Not that it stops anyone from opening/tampering with the box before I pick it up, but my worst fear is either it not being delivered or receiving the box after the driver has taken off and being stuck with something like that happening. I opened the box right in their "store" or whatever you'd like to call it just to make sure it was in there and it wasn't damaged.

Not everyone will have easy access to a physical location.

Perhaps it happened at customs and they forgot to replace the item after? Just a theory. From Canada here and I notice during the shipping process it mentions something about customs while the item is enroute, after it lands in Canada. I received something that was opened by customs some years ago, I feel like they placed a label on my package after though. Saying it was opened by Canada customs.

I’m just hoping it’s not theft while in the care of UPS, I’ve been doing my lv shopping online since it seems easier to find “hard to find” items online than in store.

Hope everything works out for you! Keep us posted.

No, it wasn’t customs. Customs will open the box the way it should be opened and then add special tape and a special label saying the package was inspected.

That happened to me in March!!! They stole my $2200 bag, left an empty box and lied to the local LV manager and covered it up!!! Thank God I was able to get my money back! Losers!

I hope you get your money back or a replacement purse. My package was shipped from my local boutique to my home because I was out-of-state when a rare bag that I wanted for my birthday was located. By the time I got home on a Sunday, the package was scheduled to be delivered on Monday. The UPS driver left my package on my front porch, which I saw while at work thanks to my Ring doorbell and I freaked out about someone stealing my box. Well, I got home a little after 3pm and noticed that the tamper tape had been cut and sealed over with clear packing tape. The box was very light and I felt something was very strange. All I had left when I opened the package was an empty box and some post card thing! Everything was gone! No dust bag, receipt, nothing!!! I immediately contacted the CA that sold me the bag and they got me in touch with the LV manager. I brought the box to him and it took over 2 weeks before I received my gift cards with the full amount. I think the LV manager knew the local UPS was covering it up but didn't have sufficient evidence. There is a lot more I can tell but it brings back horrible memories. I never talked about it until now because I couldn't. So sorry this happened to you.

Oh no!!! Was this ups? What was the lie that was told? How long before it was resolved? I’m happy you got your refund!
Yes, it was local UPS. I wanted them criminally prosecuted but I was told that UPS handles these things internally. The LV manager was very upset too but they were able to recoup their loss from UPS.
