Please don't take offense...but I wonder if they think you are a reseller and that is why they treated you so badly? I read on another board how they mistreat folks they suspect are reselling....

I could not stop thinking about this last night and this morning. I am livid for you... i hope this all gets sorted out and the people who mistreated you are held accountable for it.
 
So, we treat people that way if we only think they're resellers (if that is in fact the reason). I'm sorry that is just not a good excuse. There are so many nice sa's out there and when the few bad ones get out, it ruins the reputation for all that are nice. It's unfortunate.

And personally I'm considering resigning. Because everything that I've heard makes me not want to work for this company anymore. The price markups, the bad customer service, the rude SA's. i'm pretty close to being through, and TERRIBLY sorry this happened to you, sweetie.

ETA: I'm with Whitney. If you are sick of crappy SA's and bad CS, PM me and you can shop with me anytime. I'll take care of you, as will Whitney and Sprinkles. Because this horrible CS is :hs:
 
I dont know what it is about these Coach SA's. I got to tell you every time I go into a store, the SA's are snobs. I dont need some lame SA giving me a hard time. They act like they own the place and anything you return is coming out of their pocket. You know what it is? They start working there and they think they are high and mighty when most of them dont even make enough to actually shop there! Arggg. Sorry I know this sounds rude but honestly I make 5 times what they make and I dont need their ridiculous and petty attitude. Screw them. If I go into a store I already know they are like this if they arent nice I walk out.

i agree, it's NOT a good excuse, and it's certainly not right! But I just can't imagine what came over these jerkoffs, KWIM? it's horrible!

I dont' want anyone to think I was implying it is OK, i just though it might have something to do with it.
 
I hope all of this gets worked out.

I have to say that if you ever want to order, the SAs at both Austin stores are really wonderful about everything, including returns. Sometimes it's more about the person in the job than the company itself, but to the customer, the SA IS the brand, and these experiences lose customers quicker than a toddler at a theme park.

If you love the coach brand, write to them--finzup gave some great advice about what you want to make things right--and follow up....

Also mention tpf in there; if they don't know about it, they could learn a great deal about the people who are most loyal to their brand.
 
Ladies, I'm at work and I haven't called yet. Believe it or not, I'm still upset and I know when I call I'll be out of breath for sentences because unfortunately that's how I get when I'm really upset. I will keep you all informed.

I pondered this question myself. I ordered one of each thing I wanted, minus the wallets and the totes, both of which I returned and didn't keep to 'sell' if that's what they were thinking. I would think that if people were selling they'd be getting at least 3-5 of everything. That makes sense right? If something is as popular as hotcakes buy loads of that then sell it. I was only ordering one of each item.

I've received a few PMs asking me this. For clarification, I am not a reseller. Feel free to look me up on ebay to see what I've sold to confirm.

In either case, if they did think that, it would still be wrong. What does it matter what anyone does with their items? A customer is still a customer and should be treated with respect. I know there are people on here that sell, so what? It's their money their item. Do as they please. It doesn't make me think any differently of them. Why should Coach?
 
I'm sorry you had to deal with such horrible customer service. I would definitley file a complaint with corporate and the Better Business Bureau/Consumer Affairs.

It just seems that customer service in general is horrible. When I worked in retail (don't ask how many years ago) we practically had to kiss the customer's hiney no matter what. Now, it seems the work ethic just isn't there anymore. Obviously, something seems to be wrong with Coach corporate culture/attitude-are they being trained to act like this?

I agree with you on this one.

I am so sorry you are still upset, and I don't blame you one bit. I really wish there was something we could do though to help you feel better. It is such a shame that they are ruining your week (that's putting it lightly).
 
That is WRONG! How dare they treat you that way and insult you! That makes me so mad for you. I hope you are writing a letter of complaint and mail out multiple copies so you can be sure they know how you werte treated. I would even print out this thread. I hope everything works out for you!
