Vickely, I should imagine that lighter charms on top and heavier ones near the clasp would help. Mine seem to stay put more or less.

I believe that silver polish would lift oxidization (which is likely why Pandora tell us not to use it) but there are also commercial dips that you can get which should strip it right off. I know what you mean, sometimes oxidised beads look a bit grubby and dull which takes away from the bling-iness of it all!

Hi Endymoon,
We have such similar taste, both starting with the blue swirl murano bead. To answer your question, I added a white Camilla bead to my bracelet and it's the same size as the blue murano. However, not all Camilla murano beads are that size. I bought another Camilla bead in black that's a bit smaller. You can see them in my picture. The blue is front and center, the white Camilla bead is to the right and the black Camilla bead is to the left. On the far right near is one of my favorite beads. It's a Camilla with the most beautiful color swirls embedded deep into the bead.

The majority of my silver beads are from Purple Moon Etsy seller, because I love her travel series. I bought the Colosseum, the London Bus, the fleur de lis, and the cruise ship from her. I bought the starfish from a jeweler on Cape Cod while on vacation.

Since posting last I bought the black leather Pandora bracelet and wear it with one bead and my two Pandora clips. Also got (free) and black bracelet from the Etsy seller who I bought the travel series beads from. In fact, last night I ordered the Golden Gate Bridge from her. I need to slow down....The Pandora store at our local mall should be opening soon.

It's tax free weekend in Massachusetts. What does that mean for my Pandora bracelet?:D

Thanks for the info on the murano size! I might have to buy those in person then (I have a Chamilia store nearby and am very drawn to the blue ocean one). Must. stay. away. til. Christmas. though :P

I'm very curious to know how you made out w/ tax free weekend? We had that here, but only for school supplies and clothing.

Is there a way to see your avatar pic any bigger? Or can you post it in the photo thread (or let me know what page it's on if you already did)? I can see the blue ribbon murano, but can't quite make out the other two! :)

Endy, I bought a silver necklace w/ lobster claw clasp and a silver charm w/ a drop pearl and a gold ring of CZ. It's very pretty. I'm all about simplicity and this is something I can wear daily.

My camera is with my daughter on vacation but when she returns I will post a pic of the necklace and new charm. I'll also snap a close-up of my bracelet so you can see the Camilla beads a bit better

Luvpugz, Re: rubber rings and ebay. They're really cheap and it's just so easy to order online.

Hmm, I'm now thinking I shouldn't try any silver cleaner with my Pandora beads as everywhere it warns against doing this and I don't want to ruin anything. :nogood:

My new bracelet is taking shape and just waiting on 2 more beads I bought off ebay and I'll post a picture.

I bought the tree of life ring last year and it was very very dark with oxidization...I DID use silver cleaner which removed some but turned the silver a yellowish colour where the oxidization had been.... After hours of polishing it, it came out beautiful....It is possible, just very time consuming :D

Eep! Wait! There are treated polishing cloths you can use to "shine up" the sterling silver cores of your beads!! Mine is blue and is treated with an ultra fine grit compound and it works like a charm! I use it to polish my beads and it's great because I can twist it up and get the inside as well. DO NOT use it on a bead that was purposefully "patinated" (chemically oxidized) otherwise that nice effect will be erased. (For instance I have a oxidized silver Pandora bracelet so I wouldn't use it on that) I'll go look if I can find a place where it is easy to get one of these cloths although I would think you could get one from a jewelry shop. ALSO I know there are little pieces of treated paper that you can keep with your beads to prevent the oxidation process.

The pandora stores around here (Vancouver, BC) sell silver polishing/cleaning cloths. Tiffany's does too.

Thanks everyone for the responses. :D I think I'll just give it a good wash and polish with my Pandora cloth just to be safe.

Just a question for you Aussies out there. My Mum is going to Norfolk Island soon and said there was a Pandora shop there - has anyone ever heard of this? Apparently things are cheaper because there's no tax on Norfolk Island - would love to hear more about it if anyone knows???:D

i was wondering do pandora sell their own display boxes ? i'd really love one but all i can find are displays that fit pandora... i'd really prefer one genuinely from pandora :smile1:

Do you mean the little white boxes or the large jewellery boxes? The white boxes are usually given away from Pandora stores when you purchase a bracelet and the smaller white boxes are given when you buy a few charms or earrings or a ring.

The large jewellery boxes (brown/purple) are mainly given as gifts with purchase here in Australia but I think there are some websites you can buy them from about $45-$50? You might need to do a search.:smile1: Some people also sell theirs on ebay.

Hi Nelly, I have been trying to find out for you. It is a tax haven, so the people there don't pay tax. Apparently it has very cheap duty free shopping. Also, the tax office website says that it is "not part of Australia for GST purposes", so you should at least get things 10% cheaper. Check out this site: http://www.gonorfolkisland.com/shopping.html
Looks pretty nice generally to me. Now I'm thinking of going there one day myself!;)
