Hi all, well I think I finally found one solution to the beads rolling around on my leather bracelet problem. I bought the leather cord, and did the design where you tie it inbetween beads. I am LOVING the look and everything stays right on top of my wrist. I will try to post pics. What is the best way to take pics of jewelry?

Not to cause trouble or anything, but I just discovered these rings that you can put your beads on. I wanted the two tone, but they were sold out, so I got the silver one.

I tried on a necklace today too and they are really nice, very heavy though. Does anyone wear the Pandora bead necklaces, I'd love to see some modelling pics!

Have you heard of the SwitchClick Ring? http://www.switchclickring.nl/3.php
I haven't seen it in person, but it looks similar to the Whimsy. I would love to get one. Thank you for this info on Whimsy!

Like some others here, I wish I had started with the silver bracelet and a gold clasp. Now when people ask me where to start, I always tell them to bite the bullet and get the one with a gold clasp.

When trying to decide what colour I would go for, I looked at the colours that I wear most. Turns out that it is black and white or black and brights. So I went with a black and white colour scheme, filled in with beads that have clear cubic zirconia. I travel to China frequently for work, so I went with an Asian theme. There are not a lot of Pandora beads in Asian theme, but I have found some - yin ynsg, fish, a now retired one with Chinese calligraphy, etc. Then I filled in with spacers and clips. I love the look of the bracelet. Wear it often.

I have another bracelet on the go that is mostly mauve-y pinks. I bought that new pink & purple bead that just came out and two other pink Murano beads. I have 4 birthstone spacers mine (Aug), my husband's (Nov) and his two children's (Jan & Oct) as well. Mine, DH and DS are the only deviation from the pink theme. But they are all pastel and look pretty strung together. This one has a couple of Chamillia beads and some Pandora spacers. I move the clips from bracelet to bracelet. Once this one is full, I am thinking of buying other colour Muranos and just changing the colours on one bracelet or the other when I really want a change. That way I won't have to invest in a gazillion silver or silver & gold beads. Not such a big fan of all gold beads. They do not seem to suit my colouring or my wardrobe as much as silver. Lucky thing for my pocketbook, I suppose.

Yes, they are. I bought the purple one last week - one for myself and one for my SIL's birthday. She has a breast cancer themed bracelet and the colours were great for it. In that picture, it looks like purple and white, but it is actually purple and pink.

I wonder how they decide to release these beads. I saw this style bead in upscale shops in the PuXi district of Shanghai several months ago. Prices were not much different from here, so I did not bother to buy then. I prefer to support my local shop - BUT I just wonder why they aren't released at the same time all around the world.

T <snip> As I've been collecting for my silver/gold clasp bracelet, I'm tending to get mostly 2-tone beads with a few all gold and all silver thrown in for color.

I like this idea. It seems to me that the gold bracelet will be buried underneath the beads on a completed bracelet. That is why I thought the gold clasp on a silver bracelet was such a clever idea. I have seen bracelets with mostly two-tone beads and the odd silver one and gold one thrown in for contrast. They were lovely. I'd make sure the gold ones had significant meaning for me, I think. :)

I've also added some colored muranos depending on what I'm wearing. Since gold and silver are neutral, you an put any color murano in to match your outfit. Right now I've got 3 pink muranos, and I'm going to go for 3 blue ones next. I'm also finding that the muranos are lighter, so I may get 2 more pink ones to switch out silver/gold beads. The bracelets are really heavy once they're full, so I'm trying to find ways to lighten it up!

Hi, I don't think we have those swirly new muranos here in Australia....any other Aussies know? I haven't been near my Pandora store in a while. I like them better than the new candy stripe ones and want to see them in real life. Hope it's not going to be like the heart muranos, which aren't available here at all. (But I did manage to get the red and pink one one Ebay and LOVE it.... !).

I'm not sure if we have any Orlando girls on this thread but I just saw that they are opening a Pandora store at the Mall at Millenia.
I am so excited. I tend to visit this one more often than the one at Florida Mall.

Getting in and our of that mall is a PIA.

Just a quick FYI.

I am :yahoo:

Yes, I have a pandora necklace that my husband bought for me for valentines day...it has my two kids initials on it...I've added a few spacers and a few oval lights (which happens to be their birthstones too....) I wear it nearly every day and loooove it to pieces!! I'll try to take a pic in a bit for you..........

You are right, they do get heavy. I wear mine most everyday, but I take it off when I am working at my computer or writing. I wear it on my right hand and I am right handed.

Do you change your beads often, like say to match an outfit? I have started to do that and do not really find it all that much of a bother. I lay the beads out in order and put them back on the same way after I have switched the colours.

I do have two bracelets, but it seems like a lot of expense to keep buying bracelets and more silver and two-tone beads if I keep building bracelets.

I just love this necklace, my husband got me for valentines day with our kids initials...I added the bow spacers at the end and two oval lights for their birthstones (champagne one as a stand in for a citrine for november and amethyst for my february baby)...

I recently bought the orange ribbon murano and black polka dot murano (both to be retired soon I was told recently) to make a kind of halloween-ish color bracelet. Halloween is my favorite time of year so its fitting and this one is my more "meaningful" one as well....Then I have a pic of my two tone bracelet....
