Hi Nelly, I have been trying to find out for you. It is a tax haven, so the people there don't pay tax. Apparently it has very cheap duty free shopping. Also, the tax office website says that it is "not part of Australia for GST purposes", so you should at least get things 10% cheaper. Check out this site: http://www.gonorfolkisland.com/shopping.html
Looks pretty nice generally to me. Now I'm thinking of going there one day myself!;)

Thanks SydneyGirl - My Mum sent an email to the jewellers there and they said its actually same RRP as Australia but they do 10% discount if you spend over $100 and 15% discount if you spend over $200. So not as cheap as I expected but at least still a discount.

They have the cheapest Lego in the world there so Mum is going to spend big on my 3 year old son:D

Just wanted to pop in real quick to say that this is the first Friday in the 2 weeks that I've had my Pandora bracelet that I did NOT get a charm. I'm 1 week new charm free... OMG, how will I make it to Christmas!?!?!?!?! LOL :pout:

Using Daddy's, pretty! I saw them today for the first time. I like the swirl pattern, I thought the brown and also the blue/green were also very pretty. Do they appear larger to you or are they the same as the others in size? They looked larger in the case.

Not to cause trouble or anything, but I just discovered these rings that you can put your beads on. I wanted the two tone, but they were sold out, so I got the silver one.

I tried on a necklace today too and they are really nice, very heavy though. Does anyone wear the Pandora bead necklaces, I'd love to see some modelling pics!

I purchased the chain necklace some months ago and it was too heavy for me, only wore it for a few hours, so I immediately took it back and exchanged it for something else. My girlfriend has the chain necklace and it looks lovely on her. She said it does not feel heavy to her. She only wears one charm on it at a time though.

Here are some pics of my updated collection (including the new necklace and bead from Tax-free weekend in MA...last weekend). This week was a very tough week at work. I rewarded myself with the Pandora suitcase travel charm to remind me that soon I will be on another trip!:graucho:

This is for Endy who wanted a close-up of my avatar to see how the Pandora blue Murano compares in size w/ the white Camilla. Next to the blue murano is my new Pandora suitcase charm. Charm on far right is also Camilla, but is smaller than the white one.

Thanks!!!!

I think they are the same size. I know I had to look through all 12 muranos they had to get the most cherry red version. I did notice some muranos were chunkier than the others. And of course there were a few burnt red ones vs. cherry red ones. However we all know that's the way muranos are since they are handmade.

I love that white (translucent) murano so pretty!

Was it heavier than the Pandora necklace? I'm debating getting one of them, whichever is lighter!
