when new charms are released does it mean older charms will stop being made anymore?
i think its great that they are releasing new charms... do they do this every year? at least we can keep collecting even if we get all the oler beads theres always something to look forward to :smile1:

I'm fairly new to the whole Pandora thing, so I'm sure other more knowledge members will chime in :smile1:.

But I think Pandora comes out with new beads twice a year, a spring collection (around March) and a fall collection (around September). Some of the beads get retired every year as well, but not necessarily the oldest ones.

Usually Pandora retires beads when a new collection comes out. Pandora has 2 big release times-Spring and Fall but they also do mini releases. The summer muranos are an example. I love the fact that they bring us new beads every few months. I work for a Pandora shop in a shop and I love checking everything out when it comes in. The new Fall beads are great. Can't wait for them to come.

I just picked up a little special treat to me: The brown leather bracelet, Tree of Life bead and one of the wooden beads (orange). I'm turning 40 next month and I have decided to not let people take advantage of me anymore and I don't want/need drama in my life. Hence the tree of life bead, I'm turning a new leaf. I'll post pics soon. I need a new family shot as I am always switching things around.

Hi everyone, I've added pictures of my bracelets on the "what does yours look like" thread. I thought I would add my leather bracelet here as well, as I've got plumbers 'O' rings on it they have been on for a while now, you can hardly see them and they haven't damaged the leather or the charms :D

This is the only place I can come too & share my addiction. I still come to look at all the beautiful bracelets here but I have been really good lately & had not been tempted with any new beads until the last release:cloud9:
I couldnt resist all the new blues....so I caved.
This is my new "creation".
Thank you for letting me share:yahoo:

Welcome back Lolas! Your new creation is beautiful. I remember from the now closed threads, you have a beautiful collection :smile1:

Couple of questions for everyone

1. Do you buy the same clips or differerent ones _I'm still trying to decide - I love the 2 tone clips with the little flower on them but I would also like a 14k one but not sure if it would look funny with different?

2. Also, and this is a strange one. Is there any way of removing some of the oxidisation from your beads that have really dark patterns?

Very pretty NorthernBirdie. Now I will go to ebay and order the plumber's rings. I've been on the fence wonderin if they will damage the leather.

Don't go to to EBAY and pay someone for plumbers rings when you can buy them (4-6 to a pack) at the hardware store for $1.00!! Just FYI...These are cheap and available at your local hardware store..

Funny, after I told a SA at a store about them, they said 'oh we can get those and sell them'...i said why don't you just give them away to your customers as a nice gesture since we are paying a small fortune for these beads!!

A couple of questions guys:

1. Where can we see new beads prior to their release? What is a good updates site for such things?

2. Do you guys wear your bracelets with the clasps on the top of bottom of your wrists? Weird question but I just wondered as I am a fan of wearing the clasp on the bottom and have my beads so that they are 'right side up' when worn with the clasp on the underside of the wrist.

1. Here is a link to pictures of the new fall beads. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=6740229&id=6843624866&ref=fbx_album&fbid=480877649866

2. My clasp always ends up on top of my wrist. So I just leave it be.

I have no idea about the oxidisation. But I have gone both ways with the clips - I have one bracelet where they are the same and a second where they are different - and I actually prefer that they be different. For my part, I think this is because I do NOT buy mulitples of any beads other than muranos, and so I think the clips look more like beads when they are not the same on my bracelet. Hope this helps you decide! (:

There is the official Facebook page, where they sometimes post sneak peeks. Also, there is another Facebook page called Pandoraholics Anonymous where there is alot of gossip about the new collections and what's retiring.

My bracelet is always rotating so that the clasp is on the top of my wrist, but I wind up trying to rotate it back down. I don't like the clasp on top... I think I need to add more weight towards the clasp so that it will stay put?

Yes, I think the clasp always ends up on top because it's lighter than the beads. I'm always turning it too, but in the end it's still on top.

So, now I see the disadvantage of making your bracelet too quickly - my wrist is soooo sore after wearing it all day! I had it on all day Sat and finally took it off for Sun and today. Now I see why one seller on eBay said she was selling her whole collection because it was too heavy! But I don't like the way it looks when it's not full. I'm thinking maybe I should get some more muranos, they seem lighter.
