thank you for replying to me :smile1:

im so hyped about getting my first real bead. as my OH got me the bracelet and safety chain both in the two tone colours he said he's going to pick me up the plain silver bracelet and a couple of beads really soon. what makes it extra special to me is he is going to choose the beads himself... he always has great taste for getting me things i love . if it was me i'd probably make my bracelet look super tacky lol i cant wait :yahoo:
so i'll be doing 2 bracelets at once but over time
im tempted to do an all old one but the bracele itself i 1000 which is pricey.... does anyone collect the all gold beads? are they worth the price? i mean if they LOOK worth what you paid

i have to say when i went in the jewellers the beads look WAY better in person , i thought they'd be all chunky and cheaplooking but i was soooo very wrong . thank you everyone here for bringing pandora to my attention . i only discovered the bracelets by accident in these forums :D

Yay, sounds great! :smile1: I do the same exact thing with circling the ones I want in the catalogue - and then I leave it conspiculously placed on the fiance's desk! In terms of the box, I only have ever gotten one box when I purchased a bracelet and beads at the same time. And, in fact, I almost never get a gift box when buying beads - only bracelets. The only time I got a gift box when purchasing a bead was when I explicitly told the store that it was a gift for my mother, so the box wasn't ultimately for me...

The all gold beads are really overpriced. I picked up a couple and while they're really nice, they are still only one of many beads. I think that's why most people gravitate towards the two tone beads/bracelets. Still pricey, but definitely not as bad!

SO is all an-gold kind of guy so he insists on getting me the gold bracelet for Christmas. I keep telling him that while it's beautiful, it's sooo overpriced! But he loves the whole Pandora concept and how he never has to think about what to buy me anymore, so I guess I'll let him buy it for me:p As I've been collecting for my silver/gold clasp bracelet, I'm tending to get mostly 2-tone beads with a few all gold and all silver thrown in for color.

I really want to buy my mom a authentic pandora. She is always admiring mine. She bought a bracelet with charms on ebay and I'm pretty sure its fake.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250671979500&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:US:1123

Could anyone give me some authentic auction links? Chamilia links are also fine ;)
Thanks!

Definitely fake. With e-bay, you have to be careful - NEVER buy from China, never buy anything that says "Pandora style" or "fits Pandora", and always check the seller's reviews.

When I buy from eBay I search the word Pandora and then a bead number like "Pandora 79601" and genuine sellers always come up. Avoid using words like "genuine" or "real" it just seems to bring up the fake ones! If you look at the sellers other items they usually have bracelets and other charms. Make sure to read their feedback reviews first! :D

Have finally gotten around to taking an updated pic that is semi decent. Not a great shot but will do for now!!

Couldnt help myself and ended up getting another bead last night! Had to take advantage of the 30% offer at glitterati even though I only just got a bead for my new job..... I got the dangle bead that is next to the anniversary bead.

Hi Endymoon,
We have such similar taste, both starting with the blue swirl murano bead. To answer your question, I added a white Camilla bead to my bracelet and it's the same size as the blue murano. However, not all Camilla murano beads are that size. I bought another Camilla bead in black that's a bit smaller. You can see them in my picture. The blue is front and center, the white Camilla bead is to the right and the black Camilla bead is to the left. On the far right near is one of my favorite beads. It's a Camilla with the most beautiful color swirls embedded deep into the bead.

The majority of my silver beads are from Purple Moon Etsy seller, because I love her travel series. I bought the Colosseum, the London Bus, the fleur de lis, and the cruise ship from her. I bought the starfish from a jeweler on Cape Cod while on vacation.

Since posting last I bought the black leather Pandora bracelet and wear it with one bead and my two Pandora clips. Also got (free) and black bracelet from the Etsy seller who I bought the travel series beads from. In fact, last night I ordered the Golden Gate Bridge from her. I need to slow down....The Pandora store at our local mall should be opening soon.

It's tax free weekend in Massachusetts. What does that mean for my Pandora bracelet?:D

Does anyone happen to know (or better yet, have a picture to show) the size difference between Pandora and Chamilia murano's?

Zh1va--your bracelet is Gorgeous!!!!!!

Hi Bonnie

If you like some of Purple Moon's stuff on Etsy, you may like Nagara beads at silvershake. I've also purchased from both and many of their products are the same. BTW, www.silvershake.com is having a sale and many of the nagara beads are on sale for 25% off right now.

Missy, Thanks so much for linking me to her site. It looks great and I'm sure I'll be buying from her too.

Today the Pandora Store finally opened at our local mall. YipEEEEEE! Bought a silver necklace and a bead. I'll post a pic tomorrow when my daughter brings my digital camera home. As I mentioned it is tax-free weekend here in MA, which means I saved $9.00 in tax on my $140 purchase.

This is SO addicting! The store was gigantic and had incredible displays that only made me want it ALL! Nope, I can resist. I can resist. I can. I know I can!????
