Hi ladies, I need your opinions!

The other day I received a biscuit color RM mini mac that I had ordered ship and send from a NR. It is a refurb, and was a steal at $65, plus taxes and shipping. On the phone the girl said it did have a few marks and I could look over it and return it if I wanted. I received it and it does have a few marks on the bottom, on the leather and the hardware, and a scratch on the large front clasp. It looks like someone wore it for weeks and dropped it on the cement too. It also had a small makeup stain on the inside and didn't come with a dustbag.

Now I did look past this things but I realized that I'm not sure a "biscuit" colored bag is the best idea for me. I wear a lot of dark skinny jeans and in the past all of my dark colored jeans have transferred to lighter bags. I can't get past the fact that this bag was such a steal but I'm not sure it's worth keeping because I know within days it will have transfer from my jeans or jackets.

Does anyone have suggestions? Is there a way to totally prevent transfer from clothing? Should I just return the bag or would it be worth trying to resell it for more? I've wanted a mini mac forever so I jumped at the chance to get one for a steal but I'm thinking I would be better off with a darker color :/

i'd recommend you get one in a darker color.

As pretty as Biscuit is, since you wear dark denim I'd return it and try to find a darker color.

Where is the best place in NYC to repair hardware on a Minkoff bag? Although the problem is due to an acknowledged manufacturing defect, the Minkoff factory won't repair the bag outside the two year post-purchase period. I need to find a repair place that can repair hardware (assuming the parts are even available - Minkoff didn't even offer to send that).

To answer some of your recent inquiries/suggestions:

minkette - I am so sorry to hear that you do not love our light gold hardware! Although I know most of our handbags right now have this color, silver is definitely something that we know people are interested in. I will certainly remind the team that members love seeing silver hardware and hopefully it can be incorporated into more styles.

morningcolor - 4 zippers on a Mini 5 Zip handbag, so crazy! This is something we have definitely gotten a lot of questions about. Certain design features change from season to season, so there is always the option that the back zipper could come back.

jorton - such a bummer that your biscuit handbag has become so dirty! I sent you a message and am happy to help you resolve the issue if you absolutely love the bag and do not want to part with it!

nyc1968 - I would be happy to check to see if we have the part available to repair your handbag. Can you send me a message with the details of what you would need?

How long does it take to process an order and get it ready for shipping?

Never mind. Just got an email apologizing the lack of confirmation email and the item has shipped.

I saw you told another user you can look for an extra hardware piece for her. Do you know if you still have any replacement parts for the Cupid bag? I'm looking for the piece that the handle strap connects to (the bar attached to the plate on the bag). I'm looking for one in light gold.

I live in Singapore so there isn't any RM stores around. I have poked my nose in ebay, bonanza, tradesy etc but no luck. :(

As you know RM has various shades every season and many of them are very similar so the information of the names of the colors is very important. I've just recently discovered the (black on black) love crossbody. I really want this bag, but due to reviews regarding the black hardware chipping, I wanted to hold out on a black leather with gunmetal hardware version. Can this be made available soon?

OK. I've just accidentally found out the name of the color shows when I put my mouse over the photo. For some, it shows the name of the color. But for some, it shows the name of the style. I hope to see all the basic information show on the info/ detail page. That would be consistent and more convenient. Thank you.

Dear Team, the piping has worn off one corner of a MAM I bought last spring. It's a sample sale bag but it's actually one of my favorite color ways ever and I've been wearing it all week until I noticed the white plastic showing under the piping. I live in NYC. What can I do?
