Don’t they have to sell everything so they can buy new s**t?

That’s exactly why I didn’t get Neverfull. I have the following in mono-You see it everywhere now so it has lost some of its cachet. But if you love it, don't worry about it and enjoy your collection, especially if you have discontinued or less common styles. It's the Neverfull that annoys me. I refused to buy one because they are so common. Instead I have a Faure Le Page Daily Battle tote that I love and I don't see myself coming and going. Don't let the influencers influence you![]()
BTW Faure le Page is beautiful. You see it everywhere now so it has lost some of its cachet. True that. I want to wear mine…I love them all.Never! They're probably just selling because they can get so much more money right now for their used bags since new ones are so difficult to get these days (they need to fund their new purchases so they have something to post about right?). Trends come and go but canvas pieces like LV regular monogram will always be classic.
AND…what happened to Burberry house print. It got so common that it was tacky but I don’t think LV will let that happen after all it is LVMH company.Depends on where you are located as well.
For example, the LV resale market in Japan is absolutely enormous!! They have so many pre-loved LV items that they’re just stacked up right next to each other on rows and rows of shelves as if it was Walmart. And the prices for the pre-loved LV items are very affordable/reasonable. The quality control for pre-loved items are also very strict so many pieces look barely used or brand new.
For oneself, I think it really depends on personal taste and style. LV monogram is iconic to the brand and house itself. It would not be LV without the monogram. It may go in and out of style but the house will always be there
For myself, LV was never really my thing. Tried a few things and they never really worked out. But I really love their trunks!May one day buy one as a decorative piece down the line

I think because of cheap Japanese market on Ebay and Vestiaire…everyone has a LV bag now.AND…what happened to Burberry house print. It got so common that it was tacky but I don’t think LV will let that happen after all it is LVMH company.
True…thanks. It was never a trend and there have always been people who find it tacky. Just wear what you want. Life is too short.
It is, and I only discovered it via word of mouth from a friend. I bought my tote in Paris in 2018 and have been enjoying it since.BTW Faure le Page is beautiful.
wow..how is it holding up?It is, and I only discovered it via word of mouth from a friend. I bought my tote in Paris in 2018 and have been enjoying it since.

I used to be exactly like that… but now I like to treat myself now and then…like someone said earlier..life is too short. What I don't understand is how they keep buying new stuff ALL the time!! I have a full-time job and make good money but I still cant bring myself to do it
However I do love the canvas pieces and have a few which i dont think will be going anywhere any time soon.
