The monogram out of style?

I sold all my mono pieces, now I am into the damier ebene. This decision was based on age (getting older) and wanting something more subtle. I like many bags in the LV collection, but only one or two are practical and comfortable for me to use.
LV bags are my most used bags. Incidentally all are in monogram because I love the look of it (plus I thought I will get just one LV bag and stop…but little did I know how addictive they are) if I were to do it again I would get my pochette metis in dune empriente leather, Neonoe in black empriente leather or DE and I like my MPA in monogram.

LVMH is pushing for sales of the Louis Vuitton Empriente leather. Actually, Damier Azur and Damier Ebene are the least popular Louis Vuitton products in 2021. At this time, there isn't much catered to the Damier Azur and the Damier Ebene lovers out there.

From most to least popular in 2021:
Empriente>>Monogram=Epi leather>Vernis>>>Damier

That is exactly why I like the Damier Ebene.

Hmmmm. In all honesty what does “out of trend” mean to you? Do you love your bags? Who cared what anyone else thinks or what they wear? If something that you’re using makes your heart sing, use it!
Agreed. That's how I feel every time someone complains that they see the Neverfull or Speedy everywhere. I see many, many bags "everywhere" at this point. If I like it and find it useful, then I consider it. Who cares what others think?!

Please can I pick your brains.
By chance I got my hands on The Papillon trunk in Selfridges over the weekend. Majority of my bags are in monogram canvas…should I add this to my collection or not. The reason I am conflicted about this is because I could add a bit more and get Chanel mini (preloved of course) instead. The differential is not huge as Chanel is preloved. Of course I can’t keep both. What would you choose? Thank you….your suggestions and comments have been most useful.
BTW about my collection-
chanel- I have a VERY vintage chanel flap (more like battered) in black from 80s and a Chanel jumbo in black with big CC in vertical quilt.
LV- Pochette metis in mono, Neonoe in mono, MPA in mono, GO TP26

Chanel mini for sure.

Monogram is timeless. Yes, it’s been overdone because of the popularity but honestly I see more Prada galleria’s And mulberry bayswaters and givenchy Antigonas than I do any kind of LV bag. The monogram is so distinctive that it’s just more visible and also Some people love to hate it. I don’t care about those people I absolutely love the LV monogram and the other canvas prints and even if I had the budget for leather, I would still end up buying canvas.

I don’t agree that monogram canvas “is out of trend”…rather wonder whether certain handbags can appear “out of trend”.

I own two monogram handbags and two monogram SLGs. I’m happy with just that :) and, if anything, find reasons to circulate my handbag usage.

I only have damier pieces but all I see IRL is mono on others. There are certain mono styles that look trendy and probably won't be around more than a season, but the print itself on more classic bags is still very desirable.

OMG, do you really mean that? They have reduced the amount of monogram. I love monogram sooo much that I wanna a multiple accessories but I never have a chance to get it. Monogram is the most classic and will never be out of Style. But I mean it, if someone’s salesperson have the multiple accessories, no matter it’s pink or green, please pm me . I want it sooo much!!! :)
