Hi there, Can anyone tell me if they've had issues with the LV sac plat lining? I just purchased one on ebay and then ran into information that said the ones put out before August of this year had issues with stickiness. If I run into that problem, is it expensive to replace the lining? Thanks for any help on this issue!

My Neverfull MM with new handles and trim!!!

The price for each handle was $115 CAD and the trim was $76 CAD. It took exactly one month for repair.

And I got a new dust bag out of it :graucho:

i was trying to search this thread about inner pockets sticking together. i have a pre-loved druoet (hope i spelled that right), and so far the inner pocket is fine, but how do i prevent it from sticking? why does that happen anyway?

I bought a preloved Sac Plat circa 1999, and yes the vuittonite lining does deteriorate over the years. I had the lining replaced at a cost of approx AU$500. Apparently I should get another 12 - 15 years out of the new lining. The before and after photos are a few pages back I think :)

I'm hoping someone can help...I bought a pre-loved mono bucket PM with a very sticky lining. I followed the advice of another person who used cleaners and scrubbed the sticky away. It was a mess, but I was able to get rid of the sticky lining. It's super wet now and I have it drying.

The problem is that some of the vachetta looks super dry now (from cleanser and scrubbing). Should I put conditioner on now or wait until it's dry? HELP!

Hi, can someone please advise me what my options are? My bag is 16 yrs old and in pretty bad condition. It is my first LV so I don't want to give it away or sell it but I'm tired of seeing it not in use. There are cracks in the canvas along the top where the zipper located and the vachetta is terribly filthy looking. I tried cleaning it but it still looks bad. I was thinking about having it dyed dark brown. Any suggestions out there?

I just sold her on ebay! :crybaby: She will be missed but I have a vintage keepall coming to fill her empty space. :yahoo:
