Hi all,

I need help!

Does anyone know how to get rid of old gum stain off vachetta ? I found this vintage keepall that I really want, and it is still in pretty good condition except for it has an old gum stain on the vachetta at the base of the bag. I read a lot about people using magic eraser but I have seen some youtube videos that shows magic eraser completely dry up and crack the vachetta badly. I prefer not to try the magic eraser if I don't have to.

Thanks!

Hello ladies, I am so sorry for display Dior, not LV, but I urgently need your help: please, it is possible to repair this damage (pic) on corners?
And to clean up the color transfer in this material? The bag is Le Trente.

Corner repair yes, colour transfer on vernis no. Your only option would be to change the colour of the bag.

Hi everyone! I just purchased my first preloved Petit Noe and would like to get the vachetta replaced on the top trim as it has peeled and cracked off in many places. Unfortunately under closer inspection I noticed that the canvas has cracked where the trim has come away. Looking for thoughts on whether LV would even touch this as the canvas has cracked? I’ve read a lot of different posts say that they absolutely would not touch it with the cracked canvas and others that say it’s case by case. The new trim replacement would cover the cracks but I’m just wondering if I should even bothering trying to send it away to LV to see if they would fix it or just send it away to Purse Rehab for repairs who quoted me $150 + $20 for return shipping. Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

My understanding is that they won't repair anything that has cracks. I would go with the other repair service if it were me. Good luck!

Lv replaced trim on my galliera with a crack so it might be worth asking, i think it will depend on where the cracks are.

Need suggestions for brasso on zippers.

I collect vintage Louis Vuitton pieces and most of the time need to brighten and clean the zipper along with the hardware. I use brasso and wipe right off (I work in a small area first and wipe off before going onto another small area) but it always leaves a residue that I am unable to get off. Does anyone have any suggestions? I see a lot of others using brasso for their zippers but I don't see any residue. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks everyone!
Try this! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000ID0H7K?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title I used on a vintage LV Speedy and it made the brass hardware brand new!
