Hi jadies, I'm just popping in to say hello. I haven't posted much lately and you'll probably see me even less for the next couple of years. I think I am done with jade collecting for awhile. My home was destroyed in the Lahaina fires 3 weeks ago, along with all but two pieces of my jade. I was wearing the pendant and the bracelet below when we evacuated and never thought that would be the last time I'd be in my home. Please have a disaster plan at the ready: both for evacuation and shelter-in-place. I'd also suggest reviewing whatever insurance policies you have and how you keep track of and store your jewelry.

My last 2 jadeite pieces:

Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry. I will keep you/your family in my prayers.

View attachment 5860607View attachment 5860608Hello Jadies! I need some advice. My new 47 mm bangle arrived, and I’m having a lot of troubles with it. Initially, nothing was different. There was a lot, and I mean a lot of pain to move it past my knuckles and thumb bone, but it got past. It hurt far more than usual, but I’ve seen videos of people with bruised hands, so I assumed I finally found the correct size for me lol. The problem is that the bangle won’t go past that. It goes past my knuckles, my thumb, but won’t go past the bottom part of my hand. I’m at a loss. I tried three time, and three times I’ve failed. I don’t want to try again today, as my hand is spectacularly bruised. What should I do?
Ouch! I honestly think it's too small! The bruising looks painful. I would not attempt again... a bit of redness is tolerable but causing that kind of bruising to the hand is not worth it. Does the seller accept returns or exchanges?
