Yeah I'm all for the self confidence, but I still identify myself as a man, I guess it's like I don't want to be perceived as girly. But at the same time I will make the exception with the jade bracelet. I just feel so much better knowing I'll be able to wear it now and have my own.

Also, for the Hello Kitty bag, I didn't buy it because I wanted a hello kitty bag, it just so happened it is a well made girl accessory. My next bag won't be a specific Hello kitty bag haha

I completely understand that you didn't go out looking for Hello Kitty. LOL
My boyfriend doesn't go out looking for girly stuff either, but if he finds something he likes that is "suppose" to be for women, he'll buy it for himself.

My high school Chinese (Taiwanese) teacher always wore hers. Of course at the time, I felt too strongly about the gender roles but that didn't keep me shy for keep asking her about it.

She often said the longer you wear the 玉鐲 (yu-zhuo / Jade bracelet) the more pretty it gets. My high school Laoshi (teacher) really was and continues to be like a second Mom to me, she was always great and really is really nice to go out and occasionally have dinner with her. Always has a smile and just as a bonus wear her fashionable Jade everywhere.

I do believe the longer you wear a piece, the more beautiful it becomes. Probably why I wear my "ugliest" bangle 24/7. Every week she becomes more beautiful to me. I'm even getting compliments on her her now when I go to work.

Here is the new fall bag with some of my fall-like bangles. I'll have to be careful how much I put in it or I will need a chiropractor! It's really big with three sections. My son said "Jeez, Mom, you cold fit a small child in there!", lol!

Crosso, I really do love your new bangle, though I"m terrible with names! I'm sure you'll pick the perfect one in time.
Uli, I love that bracelet, but as Crosso mentioned, I bet the jade part will slip underneat the wrist showing only the silver. :(
I am taking Dargola out for a night on the town tonight after work. The bar is Victorian themed and she goes so nicely with my black lace and beaded dress. Terrible photos but no one is home to take a photo of us. :(
