Store it on its side when you’re not using it (and flip it to the other side every once in a while). The weight of the hardware is what pulls down on the leather and contributes to the sagging; if you lay it down, there’s minimal downward pull from the chains. I’ve done that with mine over the past year and it’s helped tremendously with any sagging.

thanks for sharing, i am trying to get hold of a chevron pc as it seems less likely to sag but it seems difficult to find in the secondhand market. will have to go for the quilted one brand new from the store if still unable to get the chevron one soon, held back due to the sagging

I love the small, and have the quilted one. I am petite, and I feel this is the best size on me. The space inside is enough for my everyday need, and it holds the shape better than the bigger ones because it is quite full when in use. Have fun looking for the one you love

I love the small one too! It’s my most used chanel bag. I always pick Gabrielle when travelling. It’s black, fits my essentials and perfect for all kind of outfits. Good luck in looking for chevron version. Hope you get it!

Thank you @IFH & @queridaqthecat daqthecat so much! Will heed the advice as it is very useful and it did address my many doubts. Mind has been stuck on a dior lady for the longest time but somehow think that it doesn’t suit my style as much as the Gabrielle . am coming to terms that its best to get a bag that suits me more than anything
keeping my fingers & toes crossed To be able to come across one that i love !

I have the new medium size and love it. this size is more proportional to my height of 5’7”. Plus I feel that the bigger size balances out the double chain better than the small. just feels like too much chain for the small bag.

I am 5’4 . I did try the new med few years back and preferred that to the small, have been looking out for the black chevron for that size since then but to no avail.
Am now leaning to the small due to chevron and that it might be easier to move with as it will be less bulky. If I do however, decide that new med suits my frame more, would have to past the possibility of the sagging .

new medium size can hold more stuffs compare to small size if going out for whole day or travelling.
small size hold very basic essentials eg. compact wallet, tissues, sanitizer, handphone and tiny cosmetic pouch (for lipstick & compact powder). I guess that’s the maximum and easy to take things in & out. If going out for a quick one eg. shopping or tea break, small size is good enough.
i already have 3 small handbags & cf medium was the biggest size that time. hence i decided new medium in view of the capacity & carrying gabby out for travelling to hold more stuffs eg. passport, sunglasses & small cosmetic pouch

I’ve had my new medium Gabrielle for almost a year now and no sagging so far. Granted I’ve only used it a few times and I have the thin samorga organizer inside at all times plus I don’t keep the straps on top of the bag when storing to avoid unnecessary weight on top. Some suggest storing on the side to prevent sagging as well.

Have anyone seen an organiser with velcro like the Samorga one for the Gabrielle bookbag? I like the velcro one but the shipping from Samorga is a bit ridiculous to my country. Other inserts, like Zoomoni, are only half inserts. I attached picture of what I’m referring to:
