Hi there,
Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the cert tote and the executive tote?:confused1:
And does anyone know how much it will be going up in price with the price increase?

Executive/Cerf are one in the same. I got an email from an SA @ Mall of American and he said that the increase on it was only going to be to $2175. I did a double at that... email is as follows:

CHANEL
PRICE INCREASE
MONDAY!
Executive Tote
Old Price $2125
New Price $2175
We just received word that the
CHANEL price increase will be this
Monday!

If you would like to order a

The cerf tote closes with snaps whereas the executive does not have the snaps and has a middle flap going over and securing the bag. I hope that makes sense..i have a hard time putting it in words...sorry about that!

I spoke to an SA from Chanel in Nordstrom's and she stated that there will be a slight increase this coming Monday and another increase on November 1st. I believe that the price for the cert tote will be $2695 by Nov. 1st. Better get it while you can.

I've been going over threads/posts on here looking for more information on the Cerf Tote and am hoping the Chanel experts here can help clear up some of my confusions:


  • Is the Cerf Tote with the CC interlock still being produced or available?
  • How many sizes does it actually come in? I've seen pictures of various 'large' totes that seem very different(??)
  • What are the actual dimensions of the different sizes?

The smaller size with the madamioselle gunmetal closure is no longer produced. Only the larger size with the CC interlock is currently being made. I have a dark brown Cerf and love it! It's 14" long by about 10" high (I didn't go measure; this is a guesstimate.).
