I have THREE Cerf Totes, LOL! I use my Black one the most, almost daily and it is by far my favorite bag for this purpose :yes:
I usually take a DIFFERENT bag for shopping though just because I prefer a big shoulder bag for this (I CAN fit the Cerf over my shoulder, although a bit tight with a heavy coat, it is fine without but can get a little heavy this way and I do carry wayyy too much junk also :push:)

I really only hear wonderful things about this bag!!! I definitely will be going to look at this weekend. I've seen it in the store before of course, but I never took the time to really try it on and consider it.

I have both the cerf & medallion and I definitely prefer the cerf. My only problem is that it loses structure FAST. The sides kind of cave in and make it a little sloppy looking imho.

I think so especially if you are using it for a work or school and won't be carring it continously for hours. I use mine everyday for work to carry all my junk- planner, folders, wallet, etc. It's roomy and I don't feel like I have to baby it. I don't like it as a weekend shopping tote b/c it doesn't carry comfortably on the shoulder for extended periods (I don't like the look of the shouler strap so I just use the handles. I guess if you used the strap it would carry easier).

I think the Cerf is a great everyday bag. I have a black one. Also, I own a medallion tote and I think a Cerf is much more practical and less flashy. Just a little CC and that's it. A relatively lightweight bag with many possibilities. Even though it doesn't close it is easy to put your walllet and valuables in a very generous zippered compartment. The extra compartment is removable. I never use it. It actually doesn't have a practical use and doesn't seem to snap securely to the bag.
I love the bag for its quiet simplicity and elegance.

That's disappointing. Does it melt like the GST does? Cuz I really don't like that look :sad: One of my fave things about my Medallion is how it keeps it's shape.

My Black one has gotten slouchy but I love it and I think it has taken quite a lot of use to get it that way. I keep a towel inside them in their dust bags when not in use to keep the shape.

I am for sure gonna get the Cerf Tote. I love it! The one I saw today had silver HW, as they were sold out of the gold. I love gold though and all my bags have gold HW, which works for me. However the silver did look very pretty. Now I'm kinda confused. Taking aside what I already have, which color HW do you personally think looks better on this particular bag?

I'm very excited. The Cerf seems fabulous!! :tup:

I have the silver & I love it! It suits my personality & lifestyle :yes:

I tried gold before but I found I look rather matronly with it. But I guess I was quite lucky to have the chance to compare?

Did you take the SHW for a spin? do you think you look good with it?
