Great review - do you have a photo of your trusty workhorse? I have the version without the shoulder strap (sadly) but I love her!

Here you go... my trusty travel workhorse all stuffed up!
Laptop in back, Bose headset (in left pouch), portable charger, AC adapter, cables (in right pouch), water bottle, umbrella (sometimes if the city is raining ), sunglasses.

In the front inside pouch, fuchsia mini o-case, tissue pack, fuchsia credit card holder.

And for the true road warrior, outside front pocket is where I store napkins and plastic utensils (pilfered at the airport restaurants )

I love this bag! The single strap is the best part. Toss it on your shoulder and it stays put! I can also put it on top of my roller suitcase and the straps over the suitcase handle make it stay put as well.

Fabulous photos; thank you! She really is a great workhorse; how big is your laptop? The shoulder is a definite bonus, although they don’t tend to stay put on me ... I’ll fish out my pink girl for a return photo shoot in a bit!

You won't regret it. Let us know if you get it and how you like it. Honestly, the folks here on this forum have been so helpful to me. When I first got my organizer, I put it in my bags, stuffed with towels and let them hang by the handles for 2 days. The smoosh was gone. I then removed the towels, left the organizers in, and stored them on their backs. They now retain that boxy shape which is why I purchased them to begin with.

I am so late to this party, but my mom just gave me her 2006ish XL Cerf. It wasn't used much and is only a little slouchy and I want to take care of her. I've been told that she is calf skin and 2006ish, I also just read here that deer wasn't replace by calf until 2010-11, so I've got a little confusion there, but no matter.

Can you clarify something for me, please? I understand that you put in the organizer, stuffed them with towels, hung them for 2 days and now store them on flat backs, but is unclear to me if they remain boxy when you remove the shaper. Without the shapers, do you still find the shape to be nice and boxy, or do you always use the shapers when the bags are in use?

I'm not crazy fond of using bags with shapers in them. I find it too bulky inside the bag. I made my own very thin but useful base shapers for my LV canvas Speedy, and it doesn't bother me at all because is just a nice bottom for the bag and doesn't touch the walls of the bag, but other then that, I find shapers bulky.

Hi- I need your opinions on this. I purchased the Neo Tote and thought it was all black caviar, but it turned out not to be and can’t seem to know how I feel. It’s part caviar and part suede/nubuck? Anyone have experience with this bag?

I am pleased to have joined the Ceft Tote Club! This bag holds my wallet, makeup, Chromebook, Kindle, other small electronics, papers, a small umbrella, etc. Just a great, everyday bag!

Especially after seeing everyone's photos, I am convinced I can use this as my work/travel bag. H's B bag might be too heavy, Cerf Tote should be able to handle it.

I’m a huge fan of this bag: simple, classic outline, stylish and soooo capacious - look how much she holds! I love all the different sections, too. Unlike my Mulberry Bayswater, she doesn’t weigh a tonne, either, which is a definite bonus.

I need a bag for work, but I need to carry my laptop, charger, moleskine, among all other everyday things we carry.
I don't think we have much options on that area. As I am a neat freak I'm completly in love with the Chanel Cerf and all it's compartiments, but I have few doubts:

- Is it discontinued?
- I read a lot of girls saying it does fit a laptop (and I have a new Macbook, the lighter one) but I can really carry it? I know it fits, but the bag isn't fragile for that kinda use?

Is there any work bag you guys can indicate to me? I can only think of this one, and the SL Sac de Jour which I have in the smaller version.

This bag holds a ton and the best part is that is it a single shoulder strap. Meaning you toss it over your shoulder and the strap stays on. Bags with a double shoulder strap are annoying as one strap always falls off.

Sadly though, this bag has been discontinued. You will have to buy a used one.

My other favorite travel tote is a Longchamp Neo, size medium. It will fit everything above and also has a removable shoulder strap. I take this bag on vacation because it has a zipper top and I can toss it around and nothing falls out. It can also be worn crossbody which I like when being a tourist and sightseeing.

Yeah! Good to hear everything fits with no problem! I absolutely love this bag. It's so simple and chic!
I'm taking a look at the used ones, too bad Chanel isn't making Cerfs anymore. I didn't like that Neo one they made to substitute the Cerf.

Thank u very much for the info on the Longchamp! I had never seen the Neo before! It's do great! I had no idea they were making Longchamps with straps! Despite buying the Cerf I will definitely put this one on my wishlist, I'm pretty sure I will use a TON! Lol

Does anyone know if there is actually a Large Neo Executive size? I've been looking online and there aren't a lot... And the measurements seem to be rather close to the Medium.

I can see it went through the price increase from $3200 to $3400 (one price sticker on top of the original one). Missing the inner zip pouch but I doubt I’d use it anyway. My new work bag!

It’s beautiful! I love mine and have beat it to death traveling. I never use the removable pouch so no worries. The pouch is really worthless as it snaps off half the time.

Thank you! Your pics in this thread were part of my motivation to pull the trigger. I wanted something that gave me a little smile while I work my tail off but that didn’t look too flashy. Mission accomplished!
