I wasn't calling you closeminded, I was saying that he could do a speedy instead of luggage "because its a guy thing to do"... in no way was I attacking you opinions... sorry if it came across hostile

I agree with kuppusamy

My husband :heart:s his bags. I guess many here in the US would stereotype him as well. With his bags and night creams. Kinda funny because I live in the midwest and he gets teased alot by his buddies. But, he doesn't care...he'll even take his bag to a superbowl party tomorrow. And, I'm happy as long as he's happy :p

I'm actually debating on getting him a LV for his birthday...it'd be his first. :okay:

Hey onmymind you look great...And your photo is a proof for those who say the 40 is small!

Aww thanks... but I really looked a hot mess that day. It was REALLY early in the morning and my friends and I were in a parking lot waiting for Border's to open and my friend Eric snapped the pic. So the reason why it's headless... I was an unshaven hot mess! LOL BUT THANKS and yes it is BIG!

Hey kuppusamy...glad you have a husband who likes to carry bags and not care about stereotyping etc..
I guess he understood how practical carrying a bag is!
As for the night creams thumbs up as well...
I really don't get people some times...does being straight means untrimmed hair, dirty face and smelly underarms? lol
I'm glad that I'm not that type of guy!!!

Well, honestly he has a ton of stuff to tote around. And, usually he never just sits in his office. So, he likes to have what he needs at his fingertips. Practical. While a briefcase works for some guys it won't be as practical for others. My husband would hate the bosphore just because it's so simple - a pocket addict.

I do think the others where just expressing their opinion though. :flowers:

I think the guy with the 40 looked great, missing head and all. LOL.speedy is a unisex bag imo. looks like small lugage in the mono or damier , now if it was Mc , than thats more fem, but I think anyone should wear what they feel comfortable wearing, who makes and sets these "rules" anyway? Dont wear white after labor day, men shouldnt groom, ect.. silly and a step behind, and not all guys who wear these are gay, my cousin wanted the Chanel cc studs and a LV bag and he is totally st8, who cares anyway. Rock it!

I agree with with what Kuppusamy said about luggage :flowers:

I think carrying around a Keepall as a daily bag would be totally impractical - they're just so big. What if you wanna eat in a restaurant, how are you gonna walk past the tables without bashing everybody in the head and sending soup flying into their faces? Or what if you are on a crowded subway - the bag is like 3 times your width and it'll get bashed, crushed and bent.

A keepall, for me and most people I think, would be totally cumbersome and impratical. Who carries four changes of clothes, a sleeping bag and an entire set of toiletries for a trip to the mall? I think that unless you do carry enough stuff on a daily basis to fill a keepall then there isn't much point in carrying one just for the masculine bigness.

I think that a saggy empty Keepall with about 3 items inside looks worse than a saggy Speedy with about 3 items in - since a keepall is luggage and is meant to be filled and a Speedy is a handbag and therefore isn't... :D

Not to mention the fact that the Keepall is a full $200 more than a Speedy 40 or $400 more if you get one with a strap. I personally can't justify spending this much more money on a Keepall just for a mere 5cm more of canvas and 2 longer strips of leather going round the outside of it, especially since I'm only a student!
