i'm glad i didn't buy any of that Shining Monkey stuff. some strange monkey business going on here.

Nah-ah, there isn't any strange monkey business going on. How can ppl allow themselves to think that far? Ppl shared their experiences with trying the product, an ex member happened to be a co-owner of SM (this is just a guess, I dunno exactly what her relationship is with the company), she wanted a lil privacy by not telling ppl she's related to SM, Vlad didn't like it so she banned her, end of story.
If the product is still good (judging on ppl's testimonials, the majority of them with no relation whatsoever to SM, let alone gaining financially thru their testimonials), personally, I don't think it's fair to make unnecessary accusations.

My extended 2 cents!

Not quite the end of story, but thanks for your input anyway.

Ironic enough the owner only came here to protect someone else. Now they sent their own friends to protect them and to promote their product.

No one SENDS me or anyone else anywhere, Allison. I am not a mindless robot that just shows up here whenever one of you frequently and erroneously attacks a friend of mine. But thanks for bringing up the history (YET again).

As far as SM, buy it, don't buy it, it makes no difference to me.

I am in the service industry, some of my friends are also my clients. They often give out testimonials and refer business to me, is that wrong? Everyone has a right to comment on products that they have tried.

A person sharing her biased positive testimonials without actually telling that she cashes in on every order someone places in her store, constitutes a sneaky business tactic that doesn't fly with us.

This is the gist of it. The owner of Shining Monkey denied affliation with the product. A better route would have been to come clean with the admins and let them know that yes, she does have ownership in the company that produces Shining Monkey.

Those of you who believe Vlad without question may want to ask him about his email to the owner of SM asking for advertising money. Apparently, it's ok to tout Shining Monkey on his site as long as he gets paid.

Plus, I'm sure I'll get banned again for speaking my opinion on this.

^funny how the story changes when told too many times:rofl:

IF someone was promoting their product on MY Forum, I might suggest they start paying to advertise as well.

Anyhow, let's keep this thread on topic.

First of all, nice post edit.

Secondly, I did not email her, asking for advertising money. I reacted to her attempt to drive European customers to buy her product in this thread. I suggest you get your facts straight and stop calling our members sheep.

Why is that allowed I wonder, the fake sites? Oh, and god forbid we have differing opinions from the Mods or Vlad. Is it not acceptable here to formulate our "own" thoughts? I am not a troll nor am I here to cause drama, what was the point of this thread other than to stir the pot! Shameful!

Not to jump on anyone's back, but since you decided to do it first I might as well go for it... You personally shouldn't speak unless you know exactly what went on. You don't. You aren't Vlad, you arent the co-owner. You don't need to try to act this way just to get people heated

I really don't see the big deal in promoting SM. Afterall, the product had very good reviews and positive testimonies from fellow PF members. In addition, this person never sold a FAKE or scammed anyone on this board, which in my book, is much worse than promoting a product that helps protect our handbag investment.
