jae_nomura sells absolutely authentic vintage scaves. That said, I have not bought from that seller, so, I can say nothing about the condition being reported accurately or not. The shipping charges are reasonable. The start prices have always struck me as a bit on the high side, but, maybe that is just me....

Ahhh - that's interesting......I was interested in a scarf from this seller a while ago, and someone pointed out to me that the scarf listed was never made in the particular colourway she was offering, AND there was a VERY obvious print flaw in the scarf........now I just don't know...:shrugs:

I was in the same predicament as Grands Fonds, in that I was interested in a scarf being sold by Jae_nomura. I had heard that she is based in Singapore (not 100% sure if this is true) :confused1: , whilst the item location of the scarves is in the United Kingdom. This may tie in with what Hello2703 says - in that the scarves may not be personally seen by the seller. I just loved that scarf - sigh :girlsigh:

Just my two cents but for anything I buy, I prefer the sellers to be the original owner of the item. That way, the seller knows what he/she is selling and is familiar with the item, less chances for "surprises" that way.

i am always wary when ppl are communicating to me from one part of the world, and the item will be shipped from another part of the world.......

Yeah I agree. One of the questions i always ask a seller is - Do you have the item right in front of you? Sometimes I will ask them to take additional pictures about certain parts of the item on purpose just to make sure they are not lying.

Anyone here has bought anything from an ebay seller called rosette** ?
She is based in Japan and she has a very very good feedback.
I bought a scarf from her sometime ago, reading this thread makes me wonder of her credibility.
The scarf that I bought is called libre comme l'air in black base color.

I think there are quiet a number of Japanese scarf re-seller in ebay and mostly have very good feedback. What do you ladies think of them?

aww, all this talk abt horses and riding makes me miss riding !! Used to ride in Australia (many many yrs ago ...)

*Tosca decides it's time to pay a visit to her local saddle club - which has a great restaurant BTW*
:smile1:

Hi!

I'm also a scarf lover. I've purchased from Luxury-Scarves and they are wonderful to deal with -- one of the best out there, I would say. You can rest assured that everything is authentic and exactly as described.

Hi,
I'm a Hermes scarf addict. (This is because I can't afford the bags!) Can anyone recommend reputable sellers not on e-bay, but selling online? Has anyone purchased from luxury-scarves.com and, if so, what were your experiences? Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks.

Me again !! Thanks for your replies about Jae_Nomura but has anyone bought from last-seconds.com from Germany on eBay ? :s
Last-seconds.com are super. They have another ebay ********** a different name, something like 'exclusive collections'. I bought from them and was very happy with all aspects of the transaction.

Hello 2703 - you are a braver girl than I; you are probably also a lot younger! My limit these days is hacking on our farm, and a bit of jumping. Oh and hunting is no bother to me: we have jakkals on the farm (local equivalent of foxes, I suppose) and I thought they were the cutest things until I saw them ripping a foal out of a zebra mare who was giving birth. If we had a hunt here I would be only too happy.
(Sorry, I sound a bit bloodthirsty for a demure wearer of Hermes!)

Over the years I have managed to get some rather tired Hermes scarves for riding; others I have battered myself, in my foolish youth. When I do see some online I will give you a heads-up. The trick is to remember to take them off when picking hooves etc...

Happy hunting!

Wise words indeed but guess we had better not go down that debate
I hunt and have no qualms about it having lost so many newborn to foxes and crows
I also fly raptors.

Hermes roots where born here and thats why I love my arms de chasse scarf ( I have 3 now)

I usually tie my scarf with a pin tuck it into my blouse put on my pinks just after the lawn meet and then take it off before doing the messy stuff, Its worth the dry cleaning bill at Hermes .

Am always on the looks out if I see anything I will pm you

Happy Hunting! have a good season
