This looks so elegant, definitely award worthy!I have a special fondness for floral designs and cashmere shawls.
The Oscarf for Best Floral of 2024 goes to Tulipomanie giant triangle 🎉🥳🌷
It is a design that many seemed to love this year.
I also nominate mine for most debated colourway for me 😋but I am so happy I finally settled for this monochrome version.
Unfortunately it also wins the Oscarf for the shawl I managed to snag the first time I wore it outside 🥲 but I hope to be able to fix it soon.

Beautiful collection and impressive collage making techniques! I agree that it was the best design of the year. I bought it in caramel and in blue and have so far resisted the terracotta - which I think is so special with the soft green hem, but did not look anywhere near as good on me as the other two.
Thank you, dear LKB!
Both are truly treasures, congrats!
Thank you @Croisette7-- I always love being twins! I like the caramel Orto on almost any pastel as long as the tone is slightly cool but I don't have my full closet here to see...Twins on both, nice to see the caramel works with mint or aqua.
Hahaha. This is such a classic story. You didn't even make it to a week of saying "I haven't bought a scarf all year!" @xincinsin -- I just love this design so I am no help...This is a great Oscarf! I've got to think about this one. I tried to be a good girl this yearbut my first purchase was on 2 Jan 2024, so it was very much "Resistance is Futile"

Lots of beauties and very grail-y pieces here @HermesEchidna-- you did have a banner year on the orange carpet for sure! Of course, I have Emile on tap for a nomination too so I must send you big congratulations as we are twins! I love the craie background...Good evening!!
This year have been a year of many attempts to not add scarves to the collection - all of Them has been remarkably unsuccesful. It seems like all the designs I have been looking for for years decided to just waltz by and tempt me in 2024.
A few of the nominees for personal grail of the year are
Voyages de Pytheas, Shackleton and Cosmographia universalis. I might have reached my quota of fantastic pink worlds

My sotd was Mystere au 24 - one of the few I picked up from the store this year besides the avalanche of preloved treasure hunting.

I wore it to meet a friend to have a last minute peek at the H store today.
The result: I Can now definitively point to the winner of My Last Scarf of the Year.
Heavily inspired by many of you and with a sigh of relief of the background color being silvery and not white, I brought home Emile et une nuit. Really no one would have believed I could resist those lovely creatures and colors…

Tomorrow will be a day of intensive cooking and eventually celebrating with Good friends, so this is my last post this year. Thank you all for your kind words, compliments and wonderful and effective enablement - I wish you all a very happy New Year!!!
They are all fabulous @Redbirdhermes and as others have commented they are quintessentially "you"-- your style and preferences are so distinctive and so related to your wonderful life and experiences... wonderful awards for Oscarf Week!2024 was the year that I finally embraced the CSGM. Four have entered the collection, including the two on the right that haven't been worn yet.
Here are the nominees for CSGM of the Year.

From Left to Right we have:
Voitures en Equilibre - Daiske Nomura
I'm a big Nomura fan, and I was eyeing the little dragon cart in the 45 version for ages. I finally decided to go big with this design.
View attachment 6109066View attachment 6109070
Le Livre d'Esope - Matthieu Cosse
This pretty arrived yesterday, and yes, @LKBNOLA, there is a pink elephant.
View attachment 6109076View attachment 6109072
High Flyer - Dimitri Rybaltchenko
I've been wanting this cockpit shawl for ages, and it finally came along in my favorite colorway. While this is a helicopter, the cockpit is not unlike the small aircraft that I flew. I'm looking forward to wearing this scarf a lot.

Sous le Charme d'Orphee - Alice Shirley
After finally succumbing and obtaining two of the double face 90s in the second half of the year, I hurried to pick out a CSGM before they were sold out. This is a very special design.

It turns out that I wear the Voitures en Equilibre nearly every time I leave the house. So far our winter weather has been mild, having gone below 0 F only once. To answer @darkstar66, we had several inches of snow for Christmas but it has all melted away. My Voitures has turned into an everyday workhorse.
The Oscarf for the CSGM of the Year, being the Most Worn Scarf this winter, is Voitures en Equilibre. Here is my scarf of the day mod shot.

Thank you for all the sweet comments @Maedi! I am having fun with the collages but can't stray too far from the templates/instructions I got in my mini tutorial. It helps to know young people-- they figure it out in no time...I am over the moon about my earrings-- they go with so many scarves!!!You made a beautiful collage and I fully agree how Oscarf worthy this design is. And the new blue earrings are the perfect complement. Just gorgeous.
It is so beautiful and especially on this double blue combo of top and cardi @scarf1!First scarf purchased in 2024 was the Le Jaguar et colibri CSGM. It is also my most worn shawl this year. View attachment 6109137
My award for 90cm scarf of the year is an easy one because it’s the only one I bought this year - Hermes Flagship! My collection is mostly shawls, with only a handful of scarves thrown in over the years. I love how sumptuous and glossy the silks look but they often feel too “fussy” for my life. I work, but mostly from home, and then am running around with my (still quite little) kids when I’m not working. I wasn’t sure if I would ever add another 90cm to my collection but had to have this as soon as I saw it in the boutique. I’ve thought of framing it, but I might give it and the few others in the back of the scarf drawer another try with some of the ideas I’ve seen on this thread for wearing scarves more casually.

The red Flagship is just adorable on you @PoliticalGal -- I agree with @Maedi that red and blonde hair are a great combo and it looks so cute with your denim shirt. A go-to casual styling! I can see why you made your Orphee choices-- my daughter tried all three also but truly the caramel and the blue were her cws. I adore the blue but I had that Fleurs et Papillons waiting impatiently in the Gift Vault.Beautiful collection and impressive collage making techniques! I agree that it was the best design of the year. I bought it in caramel and in blue and have so far resisted the terracotta - which I think is so special with the soft green hem, but did not look anywhere near as good on me as the other two.
Both are delicate wintry beauties but I esp love that VdF!!! It screams Arctic, somehow.
That PdL is just smashing!!! Ok, I MUST know - where do you buy all your fabulous sweaters? The knit pattern of that mustard yellow one is calling to me.
Both are amazing grails! I think I will have to copy you and Glo with your Sieste shawls, they are so stunning and eye-catching.
Excellent choices!!! Yay for twinning on the red d’Orphee. I so wish we could twin on the orange/blue shawl as well but I don’t think it lights my heart aflame.
I will DM you on sweaters @Jereni but thank you for all your lovely comments! I agree with you that the La Vie du Fleuve feels wintery to me as well-- it is absolutely not the geography of the scarf but it does seem to be the climate of the colorway!!!My 2024 Oscarf for What the Heck Was I Waiting For??!! goes to Ex Libris en Kimonos. I acquired two this year and they are both exquisite and amongst my favorites. I am hoping to obtain several more cws, at least in the 90.

Such gorgeous grail additions @LKBNOLA. Love love love the Sieste. Also, I would love to read more about yours and every one’s New Years Scarf Resolutions ☺️ I still have to make mine!
I am at awe not only with your stunning collection of Sous le charme d’Orphée @LKBNOLA, but also with your collage making abilities 😝
Beautiful colours and how nice to be able to share some pieces with your daughter!
Thank you so much for all the nice comments dear @redheaddem! I can claim no credit for the collage skills-- this week will test my limits but I think I may be able to pull off Oscarf Collages (and y'all are just sweet to indulge me!). My DD is the happy beneficiary of some of my "mistakes" and we nominally share a few pieces, which gives me an excuse to have temporary custody of more than I otherwise might! She does love the cashmeres: CSGM and GTs. Not at all interested in silks, except as art or on me. No resolutions yet! I am still in year-end review mode!I have a special fondness for floral designs and cashmere shawls.

Absolutely an Oscarf winner and gorgeous on you @GloWW0rM and yes, you have had a really great year!I added a lot to my collection this year so the Oscarfs is a tough one for me as there are many I love, but today I’m going with Jungle Love Forever.
Initially, I wasn’t as drawn to the classics but after seeing how special some of the older designs and detail + shading are, I’ve fallen down yet another scarf slide.

Most of my purchases were online this year since my SA left for H Barcelona. I traveled more, too, this year and enjoyed visiting H boutiques in Melbourne, Madrid, Taipei… and my Oscarf goes to the “best souvenir scarf of 2024”. Purchased on a tpf-er weekend girls’ trip to NYC. Who knew we could make “real” friends through this forum! Had such a blast shopping and touring H Madison.
Twilly au bloc Mosaic Plissé
Meanwhile, in another category… Oscarf for “Best value for money” goes to Le Jardin des Peintres Double Face scarf 90. Purchased at the Toronto sale at 50%- (or was it 60%-) off.
First of all, what a fabulous category "Oscarf for Best Souvenir"-- that is fantastic @JavaJo! Of course I love the plissé (♊ ). Love your Jardin des Peintres but I fell off my chair laughing at your final category. I think you are so brave to even attempt that Instagram styling (and many others!) Truly three immensely enjoyable posts in a row from you-- it made my eveningIn the styling category, Oscarf for “best look on Instagram” or…. “Just because it looks good on Alexandra Lapp doesn’t mean it will work for you in real life” goes to this (Epic fail!)
It’s a departure from your usual style but absolutely gorgeous in these monochrome tones.I have a special fondness for floral designs and cashmere shawls.

Here you go @redheaddem! I hope these are helpful. Sorry for the differences in lighting, these are the only pics I have handy wearing them. If I could only have one, I would pick the caramel because I love how dramatic it is (especially with black, which I wear a lot). This one is always complimented when I wear it out. However, the hints of electric blue in the other one are also special. I find them both to be beautiful pairings of color and design.Did we see you with the caramel and the blue? Would you mind sharing some photos if you find the time? I find it very difficult to choose a cw for me…
And thank you for your kind remarks about the Tulipomanie ☺️
Thank you, dear Maedi. I appreciate your compliment more than I can say. I confess that I enjoy the smaller scarves more than the 90s. They are just easier to work with. I worked on a knot for a 90 I intend to wear tomorrow and it was awful. I believe I will wear it but will I give it the glory the scarf should have? We’ll seeHow perfectly you style the smaller formats!
Oh I understand, Maedi. What a beauty! I love that cw on you.SOTD Robe Legère but then I decided not to wear it for fear of drippy foods.

A super haul, Redbird, you are quite lucky, they all suit you so well! I like especially Orphee on you, but all 4 designs are special and so different in colours and theme. This gives you a wide variety of styling possibilities.🙂2024 was the year that I finally embraced the CSGM.
