Thank you @Karenska for hosting such a festive week to get us into the spirit. I hope your deserved your much-deserved tipple.

Thank you for kicking off the week with a fascinating theme @xincinsin. I am very looking forward to this week too!

Welcome @xincinsin as our host for New Artists week, and thank you for the informative post about artist Jonathan Burton.

I've pulled a few scarves from my collection that were designed by Hermès artists who I'm fairly sure have fewer than 5 designs with the house. Today I'm beginning with Maori artist and tattooist Te Rangitu Netana who produced one design for Hermès.

His festive Kawa Ora is my scarf of the day.

Kawa Ora ties so beautifully. It looks lovely on you.
We are having a busy day today and heading into NYC for a family birthday celebration. Coincidentally I am on theme with Stately Wheels by Stuart Patience, who has designed only two carrés for the house-- this and Faubourg of Dreams, a men's 100 CS shown recently by @ajaxbreaker and @EtsyBoss. Here is the "scarf story" for Stately Wheels-- once I read this (and also saw the burgundy color) I had to have it!
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Buckingham Palace… but it's not just any horse, because the one at the center of this design is a Windsor Grey, the same horse that pulls the famous Gold State Coach. Its twirling reins frame the equally royal Queen Alexandra's State Coach and Diamond Jubilee State Coach. In the corners of the scarf, the English, Northern Irish, Welsh, and Scottish symbols, delicately placed on colored wheels, unite the four countries of the kingdom. The British designer Stuart Patience drew his inspiration from a visit to the Royal Mews, the stables of the royal family, which gave Hermès free rein for the composition of this scarf."

Beautiful, @LKBNOLA. Enjoy the family celebrations.
Ex Libris en Kimonos for me today. Didnt bring many scarves for my holiday travel this week, but this was a must. One of my favorite purchases in what I consider a very successful grail acquisition year.

It’s an absolute grail on you. It looks so good every time.
I believe Carine Brancowitz has less than 5 designs. But not 100%. This is my second by her, a new-in of En Liberte. I couldn’t decide on a cw during the season. I eventually zeroed in on this cw. Better late than never right. Tag cameo as it was new with tags, and was playing around with it. I have loved each tie  so it’s def a keeper.
Thrilled to be twins with @Jereni and there was a scarfie on here who was my inspiration for choosing my cw but not 100% sure who it was now :shucks:

Wonderful cw for you @Nomad! If I didn’t already have this in two cws in a 90 and in CSGM, I’d be hunting this one down too. Enjoy wearing it!
Ardmore Artists have only made 4 designs for H I believe. I have them all, and in different formats. Before seeing Baobab Cat, I had never thought of buying something smaller than a 90. But this cat's face was just so sweet that I couldn't resist and bought 2 (and these have remained my only gavroches). No other design is more Zen to me than this one! I don’t have Baobab Cat but I do really love Ardmore Artists too. It’s not a scarf day today so here is an archive photo of La Marche du Zambeze. I wouldn’t mind a Savana Dance at some point.

The artist for today - Matthieu Cosse - has done several different designs for H. Not all would have attracted our attention because the design was used for non-scarf items like towels. This year, he visited my shores to design the windows at the Singapore flagship.

Cosse designed Isola di Primavera and Au Royaume d'Helios. Both of which I almost bought, but the scarf budget was diverted to other scarves I liked more. They tie very well IMO but are not exactly my style. He recently designed a twilly which I loved: the adorable Les Chiens Parisiens. I wonder if he will do a Les Chats Parisiens? :kitty:

The twilly, tied in a simple half-bow, and pairing it with my genuine dog collar :dog:

You got the kitty to show so nicely in that 2nd photo…twisted just right on the gavroche! How did you tie this?
Hello essiedub, thank you for your comment. The tie is one of MaiTai's from her ScarfArt App and is called Double Scarf Twist. You fold 2 gavroches in the basic bias, and when you fold you can make the cat's face show. You tie the gavroches together by using a small Chaine d'ancre scarf ring and place this around your neck. Then you bring one side over and under the opposite side ("twist") and finally bring both ends behind your neck and tie in a double knot. Of course whenever you fold the 2 gavroches, the result will always be different, you just have to try, it is quite easy and you can "play".

Thank you for the information about Matthieu Cosse. I guess that I own all three of his designs. The twilly in particular was a must purchase. I don't wear twillies much, so I don't get many, but Les Chiens Parisiens was a quick decision to buy. It's adorable.

Well, Pierre Marie has certainly produced many more than five designs for the house, but I am hoping to streeeeeeetch the theme by making the wholly unsubstantiated claim that there have not been more than five "charm" twillys produced by Hermès?! This adorable little twilly was produced to celebrate the anniversary of the twilly-- I believe in 2023?
In any case, it is time for "visions of sugar plums" to be dancing in our heads...

Charming! The twilly is set off so perfectly by that sweater! And I love a good theme stretch.

I believe Thibaut Huchard has only done 2 designs for H so far, Carnaval des animaux and one 70. I certainly hope to see more of him in the future, I like the windows he has made for the brand and his art style, particularly the medieval theme.

Love the tones of this, I don’t think I’m familiar with this cw.

Glorious colors, and so perfect with your lippie!!! I love a classic cowboy knot peeking out of a coat.

I hope that I will be corrected if I am wrong, but I think that Baptiste Virot has three designs for Hermès: Ça Decoiffe 90, Faubourg City 70, and the darling Hermès Factory double-face that I have grown to love for its witty design and the colors if my cw. I pretty much adore it. And my coin pearl pendant (shown) and matching earrings (not shown) are perfect with it. The reverse rose and gris is peeping out. Showing the scarf with pendant and favorite scene in the design - Paris and the Eiffel Tower at sunset.

Good evening!!!!

Today I only wore scarves to be on theme. I have mainly been serving as domestic godess , occupying the kitchen to be ready for tomorrow’s feast.
Some of today’s products:
Two ducks and two socks (yess I made it in time)

These two scarves are from designers who only - for now - have made one scarf for H.
But they are both among my favourites!!

Arlette Ess : lazy Leopardesses

And Claus Rye Schierbeck : Grand carosse royal

Wish you all a very happy and blessed Holiday!!!

I believe Aboriginal artist Gloria Petyarre designed this single scarf Le Reve de Gloria for Hermes based a frequent motif used in her paintings, Bush Medicine Leaves.

Here’s a link to the Sydney Morning Herald with some background on the scarf. https://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/fa...-fashion-house-a-good-wrap-20091018-h2yf.html
The scarf booklet description:

Initially I did not see the beauty in this design so did not buy it when it was readily available in my home store, but after growing to appreciate Australian Aboriginal art through many trips to OZ, I decided I must have this scarf. I was lucky enough to find one hiding in a drawer well past the season it was issued at FRA H store and scooped it up. However, I would have preferred the black colourway, but have not been able to locate one, and the scarf does not come up from resellers very often. My SOTD Le Reve de Gloria:

And the amazing colourway I'm still searching for.
