I will be spending the day cooking-- like many, I am sure! No scarf in the kitchen, I am afraid; they are all safe from exploding oils and chickens @GloWW0rM and @Teaforparrots. But my SOYE for a car ride around to look at the neighborhood light displays was on theme! Montserrat Gonzales-Lugo has only designed L'Arbre du Vent and Le Jaguar et le Colibrí-- at least to my knowledge. The borders look like little string of lights too...

Thank you everyone for posting such unique beauties and for enlarging my knowledge of the new and less prolific artists who design for the House. I have loved each post! Happy Happy Holidays everyone and a Merry Christmas Eve to those who celebrate!

Dear Karenska, here’s photo I took today, pink Plumes et Grelots, like i promised . The first photo is too dark because I put the scarf on my car seat in the rush to take it and the late afternoon light wasn’t good 🤣🤣. The jacquard is so pretty. I was thinking of re-selling this few years ago, along w Joies d’Hiver and now I’m glad I didn’t.

One of my favorite designs is by Japanese artist Akira Yamaguchi. He recognized the artisans of Hermès in his distinctive style.



Yamaguchi has only produced the one design for Hermès. Today I'm wearing my avatar scarf in blue. Les Artisans d'Hermes is my scarf of the day.

So many fabulous inspirations - as always ‘ scarf by scarf’, but also drinks and recipes for a lasting ‘ feel good’ mood and - sigh - probably also a bit of ‘enrichment’ around the hips... Thank you so much, at all scarf-ladies here.

My contribution and my perhaps somewhat simple and ‘boring-appearing’ drink just makes a gentle ‘pop’, flows golden into the glass and sends many beautiful and finest pearls to the surface - like my CSGM La Femme... on Friday - happy and proud to be sister and twin to many many of you here with the Sous le Charme enjoying my preferred sparkly yesterday and today "doubled" with @LKBNOLA and @Redbirdhermes and many more...

Thanks. He doesn’t normally get dressed, but he’s having an allergy to something at the moment and this helps prevent him scratching until we figure out what he’s sensitive to. He’s pretty cute though!

I adore this scarf and the cw is just gorgeous. I showed my husband your porter photo and he’s intrigued. Hmmm, may try to find it for him in our beverage store.

It’s very tasty: it is brewed with lactose, so is very creamy, and it’s spiced with horchata spices. It’s from a local brewery so I don’t think they ship outside Canada, though 🙁 The glass is from Chimay, who do a lovely reserve of their blue label, which can be reliably found at many good outlets at this time of year.

We have a special beer that we drink at Christmas that can be shipped in the US. Will update later 😉

I couldn’t find a tutorial in the scarf knot thread, so will post one for you over the Christmas break!

Well, Pierre Marie has certainly produced many more than five designs for the house, but I am hoping to streeeeeeetch the theme by making the wholly unsubstantiated claim that there have not been more than five "charm" twillys produced by Hermès?! This adorable little twilly was produced to celebrate the anniversary of the twilly-- I believe in 2023?
In any case, it is time for "visions of sugar plums" to be dancing in our heads...

Ooh, this is great on the ‘sugar plum’ sweater! Note to self: must try this with the 90! (Which I only ever seem to wear on red, black or cream)

Ardmore Artists have only made 4 designs for H I believe. I have them all, and in different formats. Before seeing Baobab Cat, I had never thought of buying something smaller than a 90. But this cat's face was just so sweet that I couldn't resist and bought 2 (and these have remained my only gavroches). No other design is more Zen to me than this one!
