SOTD is Kohei Kyomori’s Duo Cosmique. From what I can find, Kyomori collaborated with Hermès for their Fall Winter 2021 collection and won the Hermès International Scarf Design Competition Grand Prize for this particular design. I haven’t come across any other design from Kyomori since.

His design was also used for the store display windows for the Omotesando store. More here kohei-kyomori.com

Scarf mail happened twice last week but I only managed pics with my first Mille Feuilles and I love love love it.
It took a while deciding which cw was right for me. Here are both sides.

I’m looking forward to catching up more here during holidays. I’m still many pages behind 😅😅😅.
It’s been cold and I’m wearing CSGM’s more. Sieste au Paradis

Such a good cw of Mille Feuilles and twins on Sieste👯.

I believe Thibaut Huchard has only done 2 designs for H so far, Carnaval des animaux and one 70. I certainly hope to see more of him in the future, I like the windows he has made for the brand and his art style, particularly the medieval theme.

Beautiful and what a fine cardigan.

The artist for today - Matthieu Cosse - has done several different designs for H. Not all would have attracted our attention because the design was used for non-scarf items like towels. This year, he visited my shores to design the windows at the Singapore flagship.

Cosse designed Isola di Primavera and Au Royaume d'Helios. Both of which I almost bought, but the scarf budget was diverted to other scarves I liked more. They tie very well IMO but are not exactly my style. He recently designed a twilly which I loved: the adorable Les Chiens Parisiens. I wonder if he will do a Les Chats Parisiens? :kitty:

The twilly, tied in a simple half-bow, and pairing it with my genuine dog collar :dog:

Such fun colors and extra cool with the dog collar.

Annie Faivre is probably the anti-thesis of the theme this week but it is TIME to break out the holiday looks so, cannot be helped. I have less than 5 red and blue scarves!!!! …. Theme stretch?

Lovely on you, dear Jereni
Such a good cw of Mille Feuilles and twins on Sieste👯.
Happy to be twins on Sieste, dear Maedi 🙌❤️
Ardmore Artists have only made 4 designs for H I believe. I have them all, and in different formats. Before seeing Baobab Cat, I had never thought of buying something smaller than a 90. But this cat's face was just so sweet that I couldn't resist and bought 2 (and these have remained my only gavroches). No other design is more Zen to me than this one! Sisters on Baobab Cat, dear Darkstar.
Best wishes on finding your perfect ELeK🤗
Absolutely beautiful!!! So happy to twin with you on this.

Both are stunning on you, congrats on the new in! The teals in that Sieste are scrumptious.
Thanks 🤗. You look great in teals, dear Jereni!!
You look wonderful @darkstar66, and your scarf is only enhanced by your lovely purple cardigan.

Thank you, @Jereni, for the lovely compliments.

You look awesome in all this burgundy @Foxy trini.

I do love how much yellow you manage to pack into your silk drawer. This is so uplifting!

Love this design and your smile!

Gorgeous with your beautiful blazer.

I love both of these looks! Your fluffy jacket is awesome and your ELeK has my jaw scraping the floor. I would like one too, please!! The white chocolate pink unicorn concoction is a no, thank you. I shuddered a little at the sweetness levels and the sugar high that is bound to induce!

Happy birthday, Tea! Can’t wait to see what you treated yourself to.

Wow, such pretty colours, and yes - entirely different in both pictures.

Both excellent on you! Loving the festive reds.

Super knot, twin! I gasped when I read that you will tuck it into your collar as I was then thinking… ‘but what about your beautiful white jumper’?! Exploding chickens -> exploding unicorn cocktails :wtf:
Thanks, dear GloWWorM. I love seeing your pretty smile and those gorgeous CSGM’s you wear in style.
Ex Libris en Kimonos for me today. Didnt bring many scarves for my holiday travel this week, but this was a must. One of my favorite purchases in what I consider a very successful grail acquisition year.

So beautiful, Jereni!!! I got the same cw on TRR but it wasn’t described well and it had too many runs. It bothered me so I returned it. Luckily I have a little family of 90’s I’ve been collecting like a little squirrel gathering nuts for winter. 😂😂 This is so pretty on you. A score 😍😍😍
Thank you so much, sister!

All so fabulous, Helena!
Thank you kindly, dear Croisette. I’m still daydreaming about your pink Olivier scarf😻😻😻😻aaaaaahhh!! Heaven!
Such a festive CSGM dear @Helena7. Truly spectacular 😍

Thank you dear @Cookiefiend! And welcome home!

Thank you dear @Nomad, so kind of you.

Thank you dear @LKBNOLA, your kind words always brighten my day 😊
I love the colours of the Madison special edition. And I wil definitely try out the 100 format too.
you look beautiful with the green La Vallee. I wore it earlier today too, it is such a festive cw.

Oh you are soo kind dear @Maedi, thank you very much. I hope you have some time off too!
So nice to hear from you, dear Redheaddem! I always love seeing your pretty scarves! Thank you 😄🌷
Thank you, Helena, that would be wonderful.
Dear Karenska, here’s photo I took today, pink Plumes et Grelots, like i promised :happydance: . The first photo is too dark because I put the scarf on my car seat in the rush to take it and the late afternoon light wasn’t good 🤣🤣. The jacquard is so pretty. I was thinking of re-selling this few years ago, along w Joies d’Hiver and now I’m glad I didn’t.

Several of the Dumas family have designed scarves for H. The first H scarf Jeu Des Omnibus et Dames Blanches is attributed to Hugo Grygkar but some articles claim Robert Dumas also had a hand in the design. The H website gives Robert Dumas credit for the inspiration for iconic Brides de Gala. The story behind BdG Forever is described thus:

In 1957, Robert Dumas worked with Hugo Grygkar. He placed two bridles face to face on the floor, and immediately it became clear that the composition was perfect, a scarf with unparalleled simplicity came to life.

Officially, the only scarf that I can find via Prof Google which is attributed to Robert Dumas is A la Gloire de la Cuisine Francaise.

Philippe Dumas designed many scarves. Jean-Louis Dumas designed a few, well-loved designs such as Bolduc and Les Amazones.

Rena Dumas, wife of Jean-Louis Dumas, was an architect and interior designer who created many items for H, including one scarf: Les Bolides. The design features pretty flowers and foliage in the foreground, and the fleeting images of race cars zooming past behind. This design was issued as one of the special editions for Le Mans car race.

Way back in the 1940s, Retour a la Terre by Oliver Dumas was released as a 90. It was reissued in the 1990s. Retour is his only design for a 90, but his drawings were also used for the repeated patterns on ties and gavs in the mens collex. My Retour was newly acquired a couple of months ago. It's a cotton scarf which came to me as part of a combo deal of 4 scarves. My eye was on another scarf included in the deal, so ... H maths, plus I had a shipping voucher, etc etc.

The scarf features a main motif depicting a family at their farm.
Picsart_24-12-24_20-00-35-086.jpg
Around the four sides are panels showing the harvests of grapes, dates and apples and transport of bales of wheat. The edges have small drawings of the farmers.

It is tiny figures like those on the Retour border which can be found on ties and gav in the men's collex (sample picture from the internet).
