I love your Burton collection. We’re sisters on two designs and just few days ago I’ve just ordered the same cw of Hermes Parade, that was my favourite.Hi, everyone! Ready to launch into the next theme?
New Kids on the Block: New designers or those with less than 5 designs
When we first had a theme along these lines, Ugo Gattoni and Alice Shirley were just starting their relationship with H. Now their scarf designs definitely number more than 5and some are ridiculously priced in the resale market.
The artist I'm showcasing for our opening is Jonathan Burton. IIRC, he has just reached 5 designs this season.
I got off to a slow start with Mr Burton. For some reason, none of the cws of his Hermes Tea Time or Tied Up in Knots caught my eye. I loved the designs but simply could not make up my mind about which to get. The cartoony drawings appealed to me, and I know I'm going to get a Tea Time sooner or later (that rabbit and dragon).
My first JB was Hermes Story. I still had a hard time with the cw but I bought this unusual lavender blue in the end.

Then the situation changed with Mystere au 24. Not only did I love the design, I actually wanted to get more than one cw. I settled for just one with red and blue in it - my safe zone colours. The design captured my interest because of its wacky combo of elements. Would I buy a 2nd cw? I might...

His latest design Hermes Parade hit all the right notes with me. I succumbed to two.

I really like that all the bobbing balloons form the shape of a horse.
Did I miss any of his designs?
Which are the new or newer designers attracting your attention? Or stretch the theme and tell us about those designers from decades ago who produced just one or two designs for H.
Does anyone know which cw is this of H Parade? It looks like the cw 1 but the border is different, more golden than on any I’ve seen! (The lovely model has another scarf on top, of course)

Stunning! The pale blue jacket is inspired and this combo, along with with the tiger’s teal eyes, only serves to highlight your own pretty blue eyes! A very flattering combination.

Yes: it’s called a Tod’s knot, or sometimes a hacking knot or a weave knot. Basically all the same thing. I think there’s a tutorial on the scarf knotting thread, but if I can’t find it, I’ll make you a post.
It looks more difficult than it is.
Such extraordinarily soft and pretty pinks. The Rafales is such a cheerful silk, too.

Happy that you’re starting to feel better! Saline nasal wash is weird but works wonders. Sudafed unfortunately gives me a bounce back effect where it makes me more even more congested a few days after taking it.
I love your Cosmographia CSGM and how you paired it w your coat. I might even have a same cw as you! I don’t think I ever wore it. I thought it was not right for cold weather and my dark, winter clothes till I saw your photo!🙌😻

Scarf mail happened twice last week but I only managed pics with my first Mille Feuilles and I love love love it.

Well, Pierre Marie has certainly produced many more than five designs for the house, but I am hoping to streeeeeeetch the theme by making the wholly unsubstantiated claim that there have not been more than five "charm" twillys produced by Hermès?! This adorable little twilly was produced to celebrate the anniversary of the twilly-- I believe in 2023?

I believe Carine Brancowitz has less than 5 designs. But not 100%. This is my second by her, a new-in of En Liberte. I couldn’t decide on a cw during the season. I eventually zeroed in on this cw. Better late than never right. Tag cameo as it was new with tags, and was playing around with it. I have loved each tieso it’s def a keeper.
Thrilled to be twins with @Jereni and there was a scarfie on here who was my inspiration for choosing my cw but not 100% sure who it was now

And my SOTE is my beautiful Ex Libris en Kimonos. I think my vintage green onyx earrings look very festive, too! It is the longest and darkest night of the year so I am happy to have this bright colorful shawl for warmth and cheer.

No sophisticated drink pairings for me but my little granddaughter is very excited to have a recipe for "Unicorn Hot Chocolate" and we've rounded up the ingredients for tomorrow (white chocolate, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles and food coloring). Sigh. The things we do...If I were so inclined, I might hit it with a shot of Kahlua, right?

Ardmore Artists have only made 4 designs for H I believe. I have them all, and in different formats. Before seeing Baobab Cat, I had never thought of buying something smaller than a 90. But this cat's face was just so sweet that I couldn't resist and bought 2 (and these have remained my only gavroches). No other design is more Zen to me than this one!

I purchased this scarf by Claire Fanjul when I first began collecting Hermès, thinking I was getting in on the ground floor of a new designer. It turns out that this design has been her only one, at least to date.
I normally to wear this crazy parade during the Fourth of July celebrations. But, here we are on a snowy morning just before Christmas. La Folle Parade is my scarf of the day.

Just glorious! The gray in the turtle neck really gives it an overall oomph..not sure why. Love it!
