Thank you, dear Redheaddem. Your green La Vallee is a stunner on you!!Such a festive CSGM dear @Helena7. Truly spectacular 😍
Thank you dear @Cookiefiend! And welcome home!
Thank you dear @Nomad, so kind of you.
Thank you dear @LKBNOLA, your kind words always brighten my day 😊
I love the colours of the Madison special edition. And I wil definitely try out the 100 format too.
you look beautiful with the green La Vallee. I wore it earlier today too, it is such a festive cw.

Thank you for a great introduction @xincinsin 👍I also love Mystere…
Oh you are soo kind dear @Maedi, thank you very much. I hope you have some time off too!
Thank you, dear Maedi. It’s so nice to be back here and connect with lovely people. We are twins and I am inspired by your styling.
I love your Burton collection. We’re sisters on two designs and just few days ago I’ve just ordered the same cw of Hermes Parade, that was my favourite.Hi, everyone! Ready to launch into the next theme?
New Kids on the Block: New designers or those with less than 5 designs
When we first had a theme along these lines, Ugo Gattoni and Alice Shirley were just starting their relationship with H. Now their scarf designs definitely number more than 5and some are ridiculously priced in the resale market.
The artist I'm showcasing for our opening is Jonathan Burton. IIRC, he has just reached 5 designs this season.
I got off to a slow start with Mr Burton. For some reason, none of the cws of his Hermes Tea Time or Tied Up in Knots caught my eye. I loved the designs but simply could not make up my mind about which to get. The cartoony drawings appealed to me, and I know I'm going to get a Tea Time sooner or later (that rabbit and dragon).
My first JB was Hermes Story. I still had a hard time with the cw but I bought this unusual lavender blue in the end.

Then the situation changed with Mystere au 24. Not only did I love the design, I actually wanted to get more than one cw. I settled for just one with red and blue in it - my safe zone colours. The design captured my interest because of its wacky combo of elements. Would I buy a 2nd cw? I might...

His latest design Hermes Parade hit all the right notes with me. I succumbed to two.
My first was the SE for the Melbourne boutique.
View attachment 6105812
Then on my recent trip to Beijing, I found the cw that never came to my home H.

I really like that all the bobbing balloons form the shape of a horse.
Did I miss any of his designs?
Which are the new or newer designers attracting your attention? Or stretch the theme and tell us about those designers from decades ago who produced just one or two designs for H.
Thank you, dear LKBNOLAThank you @Redbirdhermes, @bunnycat and @Maedi! The fluffy jacket was a fun find at the Holiday pop up market at my daughter's workplace-- it is warm and very cozy. I think pink hot chocolate is a one-off novelty, @Redbirdhermes -- at least I hope so!
Happy birthday, @Teaforparrots -- looking forward to your new scarf mail, too!
Thank you @Lellabelle-- Dragon looks adorable and ready for visions of sugarplums (or bones and biscuits!).
So lovely, all @Pivoine66-- always loving seeing your collection and photos... Happy Holidays to you.
Gorgeous @Helena7-- I am so happy to see you back in Scarflandia after your storm troubles...
You look stunning @redheaddem-- love both of these on you so much and the Tulipomanie on red is genius! Thank you for all the kind comments, too. Madison Party is a men's 100-- it was called Faubourg Party in the regular edition and this one was produced for the opening of the new flagship store...
Gorgeous!!! Someday, @Croisette7, I will find this...
How perfect for a scarf-on-site @Cookiefiend and so festive, too! Safe travels home to your family and Coco and I cannot wait to se your prezzies!
Thank You, dear Nomad. My Ex Libris en Kimono has some white sections that I show more during the warmer seasons in the evenings, if I wear white dresses but I don’t like to show it as much in the winter. 😁🙌Oh this bal is so so fun and I love the colors!
OmI laughed cookie at the cameo of the sleeper haha.
Enjoy the trip back
@Helena7 kimonos in large format is a dream. The design is such a chameleon looking different each time it’s there one. Envious over here of your beauty
And @Teaforparrots Happy Belated B day! We must talk about your dinner place. I’m so intrigued and may need to take a drive!
Thank you, Lellabelle! I’d love to learn it from you when you get a chance. I found one similar knot that looks like a braid but your looks different and more symmetrical.I really need to stay on top of these, to avoid the inevitable mega-quote. Apologies in advance!
Thank you, @Croisette7. I am trying to wear this one more, and more casually. Christiane Vauselle’s tiger has such a beautiful face in all iterations of this design!
Stunning! The pale blue jacket is inspired and this combo, along with with the tiger’s teal eyes, only serves to highlight your own pretty blue eyes! A very flattering combination.
Lovely maharani, and love the jacket too! Glad your review went well. You look very professional.
Thank you ‘Nola! The purple is my favourite though the prices have skyrocketed on this CW now too. The neutral is very pretty indeed, and I can see why it’s popular. You look simply wonderful in it and I'm glad you were able to find one for your collection!
Perfect with the neutral toned pearls. Your ability to match pearls with the colours in your scarves is unparalleled, @Redbirdhermes
Thank you! It’s an alpaca cape. Extremely soft and cuddly!
Thank you @Helena7 the necklace you have paired with yours is a showstopping combination!
Perfect pairing with the candle brooch and a lovely sentiment too. Wishing you the same, my dear!
Yes: it’s called a Tod’s knot, or sometimes a hacking knot or a weave knot. Basically all the same thing. I think there’s a tutorial on the scarf knotting thread, but if I can’t find it, I’ll make you a post.
It looks more difficult than it is.
Such extraordinarily soft and pretty pinks. The Rafales is such a cheerful silk, too.
Love this on you!
A very festive CW indeed. It’s reminiscent of poinsettia.
Brights suit you so well, @GloWW0rM
Just wow. Stunning, truly. Now, we must see those cosy boots!
This is very beautiful, @Ashanti_Rose. I think I prefer it to your blanc/sepia; it’s dreamy in these silver greys. Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell, and sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Fab CW, packed with festive cheer! I love how you’ve highlighted the gems with this tie.
Aww, this always feels like a party scarf to me too @Nomad. More than any other I own, I think! I love it at this time of year, and it’s been my choice for new year and Christmas 🎄. I love the starry night sky in the marine especially. 💫
Thanks, dear GloWWorM.Both wonderful choices, @Karenska! Your brooch is so lovely.
This design is so charming!
Stunning cw of Tyger Tyger. You may have been losing your mind in the car, but you looked fabulous. I had 3 hrs of the same in the car with mineThey’re at the stage where they really enjoy annoying one another.
I agree that it would probably be too similar in this cw! Hopefully another cw will catch your eye.
Oh no, that storm sounds dreadful. I hope it’s died down now and you’ve been able to secure your house and driveway. Wow @Fetes Venitiennes and its stunning colours and jacquard.
Thank you! We were so lucky with the weather (after a solid week of rain) and had a wonderful time.
Gorgeous! What a cute window display. Thanks for sharing.
Happy that you’re starting to feel better! Saline nasal wash is weird but works wonders. Sudafed unfortunately gives me a bounce back effect where it makes me more even more congested a few days after taking it.
Coco, that’s lovelyI'm joining the blue costume de fête team with a red jumper

Thank you so much, sister!Thank you, dear Redheaddem. Your green La Vallee is a stunner on you!!
Thank you, dear Maedi. It’s so nice to be back here and connect with lovely people.
Happy to be twins! I stumbled upon a little scarf tutorial yesterday and tried a new knot for me on the 90 silk.
I love your Burton collection. We’re sisters on two designs and just few days ago I’ve just ordered the same cw of Hermes Parade, that was my favourite.
Does anyone know which cw is this of H Parade? It looks like the cw 1 but the border is different, more golden than on any I’ve seen! (The lovely model has another scarf on top, of course)
Here the photo from Le Monde d’Hermes

I love your Cosmographia CSGM and how you paired it w your coat. I might even have a same cw as you! I don’t think I ever wore it. I thought it was not right for cold weather and my dark, winter clothes till I saw your photo!🙌😻
Coco, that’s lovely
Oh Cookie, you look so happy! I’m so glad you had a wonderful time in Paris. Thanks for sharing!

I love It with that jacket!!
All so fabulous, Helena!Scarf mail happened twice last week but I only managed pics with my first Mille Feuilles and I love love love it.
It took a while deciding which cw was right for me. Here are both sides.
I’m looking forward to catching up more here during holidays. I’m still many pages behind 😅😅😅.

I believe Carine Brancowitz has less than 5 designs. But not 100%. This is my second by her, a new-in of En Liberte. I couldn’t decide on a cw during the season. I eventually zeroed in on this cw. Better late than never right. Tag cameo as it was new with tags, and was playing around with it. I have loved each tieso it’s def a keeper.
Thrilled to be twins with @Jereni and there was a scarfie on here who was my inspiration for choosing my cw but not 100% sure who it was now

You look wonderful @darkstar66, and your scarf is only enhanced by your lovely purple cardigan.Sometimes, it has just to sparkle! As much as I love my CSGMs and their cosiness, warmth and ability of being throw-on-and-go, my silks are very precious to me because of their glow and their subtlety. And for me, Annie Faivre is a master in bringing out these elements to their perfection, her colours dance and sparkle, a pure delight for me.View attachment 6105320View attachment 6105322
Thank you, @Jereni, for the lovely compliments.Darling! I love purple on you. Charming scarf that goes great with your charming smile!
You look awesome in all this burgundy @Foxy trini.Quick car post. Happy holidays scarf friends! Thank you for this thread, these days I lurk more than participate, but love it all the same ❤️
I do love how much yellow you manage to pack into your silk drawer. This is so uplifting!Thank you @Karenska for hosting a delightful "Let It Snow" week. Today I'm standing in our fresh snow enjoying another snowy scarf.

Gorgeous with your beautiful blazer.
I love both of these looks! Your fluffy jacket is awesome and your ELeK has my jaw scraping the floor. I would like one too, please!! The white chocolate pink unicorn concoction is a no, thank you. I shuddered a little at the sweetness levels and the sugar high that is bound to induce!Well we had our first snow of the season-- five fun inches-- enough to play in and make the season bright and white. I tried to emulate @Redbirdhermes with an outdoor mod shot (flakes were actually still falling) without her success...

And my SOTE is my beautiful Ex Libris en Kimonos. I think my vintage green onyx earrings look very festive, too! It is the longest and darkest night of the year so I am happy to have this bright colorful shawl for warmth and cheer.

No sophisticated drink pairings for me but my little granddaughter is very excited to have a recipe for "Unicorn Hot Chocolate" and we've rounded up the ingredients for tomorrow (white chocolate, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles and food coloring). Sigh. The things we do...If I were so inclined, I might hit it with a shot of Kahlua, right?

Happy birthday, Tea! Can’t wait to see what you treated yourself to.I had a lovely milk punch cocktail at my birthday dinner at a Nordic-Asian restaurant. I didn’t wear any H today, but a scarf I’ve been stalking was finally discounted this morning and I hit the purchase button - more details to come!

I missed a whole week of posts and I’ll try to go backward. SOTD was Ex Libris en Kimono CSGM. I love how it looks so different depending how we style it.

Both excellent on you! Loving the festive reds. After a few crazy end of year rush weeks, I am finally on vacation. I am so looking forward to the holidays 🎄
It is nice to find the time to visit here, I really enjoyed all the magnificent winter silks and scarves.
I do not own any explicit winter scarves (yet!) I have mostly been wearing cashmere for warmth this week.
Bal de soie in Vermillion, and Tulipomanie in White and anthracite.

Vallee de Cristal in holiday colors plus pink and a white unicorn to boot!

I think I lost your quote @essiedub but I just had to comment on how beautiful and perfect this is!!!
Thank you Karenska! This is one spectacular scarf and the cw screams holidays. I just love it.
Just glorious! The gray in the turtle neck really gives it an overall oomph..not sure why. Love it!We are having a busy day today and heading into NYC for a family birthday celebration. Coincidentally I am on theme with Stately Wheels by Stuart Patience, who has designed only two carrés for the house-- this and Faubourg of Dreams, a men's 100 CS shown recently by @ajaxbreaker and @EtsyBoss. Here is the "scarf story" for Stately Wheels-- once I read this (and also saw the burgundy color) I had to have it!
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Buckingham Palace… but it's not just any horse, because the one at the center of this design is a Windsor Grey, the same horse that pulls the famous Gold State Coach. Its twirling reins frame the equally royal Queen Alexandra's State Coach and Diamond Jubilee State Coach. In the corners of the scarf, the English, Northern Irish, Welsh, and Scottish symbols, delicately placed on colored wheels, unite the four countries of the kingdom. The British designer Stuart Patience drew his inspiration from a visit to the Royal Mews, the stables of the royal family, which gave Hermès free rein for the composition of this scarf."

Honestly, you wear color so well..that green cardigan is a showstopper. The ex libris is not too shabby either! Your necklace stacking always inspires me! I find it tricky to do. Taking notes…Ex Libris en Kimonos for me today. Didnt bring many scarves for my holiday travel this week, but this was a must. One of my favorite purchases in what I consider a very successful grail acquisition year.

You got the kitty to show so nicely in that 2nd photo…twisted just right on the gavroche! How did you tie this?Ardmore Artists have only made 4 designs for H I believe. I have them all, and in different formats. Before seeing Baobab Cat, I had never thought of buying something smaller than a 90. But this cat's face was just so sweet that I couldn't resist and bought 2 (and these have remained my only gavroches). No other design is more Zen to me than this one!
