My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

Before I head off on a mad search for my La Comedie, I’ll post my winner for today.
Today’s Oscarf is one that Gobsmacked me.
There I was innocently scrolling through EvilBay, eating a few cookies - when BAM.
I picked myself up from the floor, looked again, and marched my fingers to H.com - where I had read some of last season’s scarves had shown up again...
And there it was, pristine and in all its glory. I have never hit Buy so fast, I think I may have given my CC a rug burn I whipped it out so fast.

Both are fab, Cookiefiend, and tied perfectly. I remember when you first acquired L’Art du Sarasa! Congratulations, again. :hugs:

Very fun week seeing everyone's scarf journeys and awards for 2020. My contribution is La Folle Parade, one of my favorites. Its such happy, fun, whimsical scarf. Every time I see it or wear it I smile.
I imagine if it were a film, it would be an in the Oscar category of animated short, with the cart wonkily rolling along and the critters frollicking and and playing silly pranks on each other to a cacaphony of music.

Presenting the award is my Little Girl (yes that's her name) but since this is the first year and she's new at this, she was a bit confused as to what to do.... Hopefully she'll get the hang of it with practice! No mod shots since I'm dealing with Covoid hair (again!) and Christmas pounds. Best wishes to all for a Happy and Safe New Year!

It’s a beauty, CBL, and such happy colors. Ooohh, love your kitty - what a sweetheart. Congratulations on both new friends. I once have a friend who adopted two sibling kittens, a male and a female, and named them ‘Boy’ and ‘Girl’.

My green contenders again.....
Appaloosa des Steppes CSGM - I paired this green with my ivory polka dotted dress one morning while rushing out the door. Luckily it worked!

Parures de Samouraïs - A light grey sweater pulls out the soft greys in the colorway.

Le Jardin de la Maharani - This was perfect with a fuchsia sweater. I love this Juane Anis/Vert combination.

Au Pays des Oiseaux Fleurs - My dark charcoal turtleneck worked better than black with this.

Sieste au Paradis - I was lucky to own a sweater that matched the contrast hem and it really worked well.

Drum Roll.....the WINNER is H en Voyage
I picked this colorway because it paired so well with my Madame Cuir gavoche which is tucked around my neck underneath.

Such great styling! I liked your family shot OK, but when I see each one in action (your sweaters are SO nice!) I'm blown away. Well done!

Lovely pairings with this colorway. I fell in love with this same scarf as soon as I saw it. Twins!

Thank you Awillow. It was on my wish list forever.

This is a good idea to revisit at a later time. MaiTai has some lovely mod shots of this colorway on her blog that might give you ideas and help you to decide.

Thank you Karenska. My phone was dying and had to delay presenting the award.

THanks Lauren!

Thank you Sammy Royal!

Love being twins with you!

Thanks Scarf1!
