I ignored this scarf for many months on the reseller site, until one day, I saw the words "special edition" in the description and took a closer look. And saw the tiny red flags added to the design

The other fount of inspiration/temptation was the HSCI website. I found two almost unsearchable scarves by chance - no name on the scarf so they get generically described. Vertige and the truly nameless pink scarf.

I love Les Triplets. What is the special edition? I love the colors.
And this JOnques et Sampans is fabulous. I love the design but didn't really enjoy the one I bought so I rehomed it. But this CW is fantastic. What a find! The red flags are so lively.
I saw a photo of this cw of Triples on the Special Ed thread back in 2010. The OP said it was issued for a pediatric charity in Belgium. I haven't been able to find out much more about it, but if you search tpf, there are veeeerrry old threads back in 2005 which mention that it was issued in 2004 to benefit S.M.I.L.E.S association and identify the colour as French blue. The regular issue of Triples is dated as 2005.
