I dropped off my Speefy 25 for new vachetta handles. Dropped off on May 24th and back home on June 6th! It was estimated to be 6 weeks! What a pleasant surprise. $390. Here are before and after. Don't make fun of my pale top handles. Lol. I know I need a desperate tan! Lol.

As I expected, a replacement “lace”, or drawstring as I call it, for my black monogram multicolor noe was quoted at $100. I’m trying to accept the repair quote, but when I get to the part about entering my return address for the replacement to be sent to I get an error message. I’ve tried several times over a few hours…if it’s still giving me trouble tomorrow I’m going to try calling 866-VUITTON. IMG_1066.png

Any ideas what it would cost to replace all vacheta on a vintage monogram petit noe? Has anyone had all vachetta on a noe replaced in the past?

I just dropped off my Noe GM for a full leather replacement. I was quoted $1,070 and 4-6 weeks for repairs. Worth it to me for the vintage canvas!

I had the full vachetta replaced on my Noé GM last year and it only cost $600. What did yours end up costing, or is it still out being repaired? They initially quoted me $900, but when I picked it up, it was only $600. Hopefully that'll happen to you, as well. Either way, you will be so happy with the result. It'll look like a brand new bag!

I recently purchased this preloved item thats over 11 years old. Its in absolutely beautiful condition save for these lose threads around the D links that are coming lose. Suppose its part of wear and tear. What would be the best way to repair this?

The leather pieces holding the D-rings usually have a reinforcement strip underneath made from a synthetic material. And sometimes, as the ring moves, it can start to fray. Not the end of the world, mostly an aesthetic issue. And as @onlyk recommended, I'd just remove them with scissors.

I worked at LV in the repair dept for a little while. There is a repair list in the computer that tells you how much each piece of the bag would cost, but it’s not something you can pull up in front of a customer. They would take your item in, research then let you know the prices. Then it’s up to you if you want to proceed or not.

Not everything is free, most of it’s not. Unless it’s something brand new and is a manufacturer issue. They may even replace the entire item depending. It’s tricky. There’s no one real answer. Best thing to do is take it in for an “estimate” then they’ll get back to you.

Let's not forget, this wonderful list does not always show all parts of a piece. Sometimes it has to be photographed and sent to France for an estimate.
