I didn’t know they finally lowered some prices!! Do you happen to know what items they lowered?
No I do not, I'm sorry. :( I just heard a youtuber talking about it. I'm trying to remember who....maybe Super Dacob and/or Marquita LVLuxury? I can't recall now. If you scroll thru this feed you may come across a few mentions as I do think someone mentioned what they noticed that lowered in price. I didn't get too involved in trying to figure out what or research it as I'm not suppose to be shopping. Lol :)

What size Neverful? In December 2023 I was quoted $90/100 for the top leather piece that tends to crack. I remember her telling me a price for handles, it was also cheap, but I don't remember the price.
Never

yes , Neverfull GM

I was quoted $390 for a replacement strap for my noe bb (I don't actually need it - I just wanted it to have a crossbody option for my new-to-me multicolor petit noe), but for that price...I will just move the strap from one bag to the other when I want to wear it crossbody, it's not like I'll be using them both simultaneously anyway! I was really hoping it wouldn't be more than $300, but I guess that was just wishful thinking...
I definitely plan to replace the drawstring on the multicolor noe though, so I will update y'all when I get a quote on that!

Hello, I recently got a quote to get the leather chapes and leather trim on my delightful PM replaced. There is some cracking on the canvas next to the chapes so I’m hoping they could cover it so it does not get worse. Since I’m not doing all of the leather will look different for a little while, anybody else experienced this how long did it take for it to look the same again?

I messed up my vachetta handles on my 1985 Speedy 25. It actually was not this bad initially but since I decided to take it in for new vachetta handles anyway, I figured now is the time to test out some hacks. :) What I discovered is, just leave well enough alone when you don't have much patina on your vachetta, because the vachetta will get darker,. Lol. :) I'm just changing the top handles for $390 as I'm too cheap to do the entire bag. Lol. I figure the existing vachetta is still light enough to where my new handles will blend in soon enough. I have some leather top handle covers I plan on purchasing from Etsy that will be close to the color of my existing vachetta to help blend in the handles to the bag and also protect my handles. On the days I'm not using the bag, I'll just expose the handles to the sunlight while the rest of the bag is covered not getting sun. :) Here is a before pic of my bag, the price list I got from my SA for the Speedy 25 for anyone interested in repair costs (for US) and the Etsy leather handle covers on my friends Speedy DE. She doesn’t have a monogram Speedy 25 so she placed the covers on her DE so I can get a visual of the fit for my 25 before I make the purchase

were the pictures 1 & 2 after you had tried to clean up the handle?

P.S. while that handle cover looks nice, in my opinion, it's not necessary especially for a DE bag, and to spend $50 plus extra not worth for a vintage bag unless it was a higher value limited edition vintage bag.

Oh yes, the pic of my monogram Speedy are with the damaged handles. The Speedy is on it's way for repair and I will not get it back for about 5 more weeks. My friend placed the leather handle covers on her Speedy DE only to provide me with a visual as I asked her to do it for me. She uses the covers for a monogram vachetta LV bag she has, not for the DE. My Speedy is not a special edition bag however it's special to me. :) . The purpose of the covers for me is to protect my new vachetta handles and also to cover the pale vachetta as it obviously will not match with my existing patina vachetta. The covers will camouflage them until they patina. :) Once I get my Speedy back , I'll post a pic as it will look strange I'm sure with the contrast but it's just temporary. :)

Oh how nice! If it's not too much trouble can you share a before and after pic? What was your experience? How long did it take?
I don’t have any after pics. The next time I carry the handbag I will try to remember to take a few. Here are a few ‘before’ pics. The bottom of the handbag had a fair amount of scuffs that they were able to remove, along with replacing the handles. The repair took about 2 weeks and I am extremely satisfied.
