Just got a quote to replace the strap for my Suhali L’Essentiel. It’s $390.
So i recently had a key ordered for a trunk i had, but have misplaced the key. i ordered one through the boutique and after some time, it arrived. they key arrived after some time and i picked it up and was happy to find it locked my trunk perfectly. unfortunately now the key is stuck inside the lock; it can still function but cannot be removed. i emailed the repair specialist and this was her response...
so flash forward to a few weeks later (today) when she asked me to bring the trunk in. now she's telling me she'll have to reach out to see what the quote will be....i reminded her that she said there'd be no cost associated with this since the lock was working fine before inserting the key they gave me. now i'm to wait for her to reach out to the repair team and she what she has to say. what do you all suggest i do if the topic of payment arises again?

Anyone know an estimate of having a zipper pull replaced? I believe at some point this was free. I just purchased a murakami pochette accessoire with the bear (?) for a great deal but there isn’t a zipper pull.
A year or two ago I had the vachetta tab on pochette accessoire repaired and when it came back, I noticed they also replaced the zipper pull. I was only charged for the leather tab, so not sure if that’s just a free thing they do.

I've been told $120 for zipper pull, $195 for full zipper, $60 for leather tab that is on the zipper pull. It seems there are different quotes given. Easiest thing to do would be to submit pictures on the LV app and get a quote directly.
I had the full vachetta replaced on my Noé GM last year and it only cost $600. What did yours end up costing, or is it still out being repaired? They initially quoted me $900, but when I picked it up, it was only $600. Hopefully that'll happen to you, as well. Either way, you will be so happy with the result. It'll look like a brand new bag!
Wow, and the mini Noe has hardly any vachetta, too. Mine is the large one so it has a whole lot of vachetta on the bottom of the bag, as well as the handles, edges and new drawstring. It was worth every penny. My bag is from 1998 and it literally looks brand new (still does).
The mini Noe has a vachetta bottom too. I think you may be thinkinf of the nano. I just submitted new pictures on the app, so we'll see if what they quote me any differently than last time.
Oh, I know. But the large Noe has the vachetta that goes over from the bottom, as well. So there's a lot of vachetta. I hope they give you a better quote. I didn't realize you went to the website to get a quote. I brought mine into the store. Maybe that's the difference?? Are you close to an LV boutique?
My mini has a full vachetta bottom too. I’m attaching a picture. Yes, close to a couple boutiques… just being lazy! . I may have to go in person if I get another high quote.
Trust me, it'll be worth the money (and time). It'll look like a brand new bag when you get it back. They'll even give you a brand new drawstring as well.

It's really amazing how much more life you get out of a bag after a leather replacement.
And the fact that it just looks brand new again is cherry on top.
I’m not sure how much a replacement strap is, but they do sell the DE adjustable strap on their website for $375 usd.
