Hi everyone! My Gucci Joy tote bag has started to bubble. Water hasn’t been spilled in it or anything that would damage it. I had seen old gucci bags had this kinda of issue, there is nothing you can do to fix it.

I did use the top handle, but I also didn’t heavily carry this bag. It was rotated often. With that being said I still don’t believe this should have happened. I have contacted LV customer service and they asked me to send it in. We will see what happens.

it definitely should not have rubbed off the way it did. I'm wary of empreinte leather in pieces that require a lot of folding since the leather is so soft. i have the cles in the empreinte line and had to have it reglazed twice.

Because of the leather. For just the metal zipper pulls for SLGs, in my experience it’s free to replace

I had all of the vachetta replaced on my NF and it was $425 including next day shipping (my “home” store is out of state). I originally wanted to just do the straps but I’m so glad I did everything - it looks brand new!
It was also shipped in a new dust bag and box, which was a nice surprise.

For general information - I have just paid $115 AUD ($77 USD) to get the LV logo hardware on a capucines BB replaced. I'm going to try and find some hardware stickers to prevent further scratching on this new one.

Just took my vintage Alma to get all leather repaired. The corners at the base were cracking as were the handles. I was quoted $1070 and that repair would take approximately 10 weeks.

I think it would be really helpful if we could compile a somewhat general list of repair cost (ranges) as a reference for the forum - I spent about 1.5 hours searching the whole forum (with no answer)!

Does anyone know the repair costs for an agenda - the botton ring part came off the cover!

A few months ago the little half moon press lock on my Stresa PM fell off and I misplaced it. LV said the cost to repair would be over $600 in total as they would have to replace the entire strap and press lock. That was just too high for me, besides the fact that this seems to be a common problem with the Stresa. 3 days ago I found the press lock piece in my desk drawer and emailed them again to see if they could just repair the lock itself since I now have the missing piece. So far no reply but I'm not holding out hope. I'll post back here if they do reply.

They’re definitely trying to push customers into purchasing new collection items. I just dropped off a cabas alto for strap and chapes replacement and it’s going to be $775. I could have bought another preloved but I figure it’s an investment into the bag. Sigh.
