I love that suitcase! What is the bag on top of it? What an awesome collection.so these were the main items i had in my collection before 2022 (the saumur30 was a replacement from when mine was stolen out of my car during the beginning of the pandemic). i sold the two keepalls and purchased a vintage keepall 45 and a keepall55B. Also, is there a charge for them to unlock a lock? Or if they sell/will give you a key that matches your lock?
I recently bought a lockit from a Japanese reseller and it has the lock on the d ring and I know at some point it’s going to bother me I do not have the key/cannot remove it if I wanted to.
I know I can probably find a matching key to buy from a reseller but not sure if that something that is worth it to me.

You all, if you remember my post from about three months ago (see above), well, I received the package today and the box was empty. I feel so sick. I’ve called LV and they’ve opened a claim but I’ve never had this happen to me before.
I dropped my Mahina Hina PM off to have the magnetic closure replaced, as the magnet has always been weak and it has never stayed closed. Purchased the bag in 2020.
I was quoted $200, 4-5 months.
I wasn’t able to make an appointment using their online system. I simply walked in and asked for a CA that could help with repairs. This was in the BH boutique.
Let’s see how long it takes…the CA said the repairs will happen here in California, so I’m hopeful it won’t be too long.

I just got a new speedy padlock lock and key replacement from LV, was charged $67 Canadian (plus tax will be additional).

...I have a sentimental Keepall that was passed down in my family. The leather is drying out and I can see where the the leather is tearing where the D-ring is; and the leather on the bag is cracking. The $750 you were quoted in December, was that for every single piece of leather on the bag (including the piping, chapes, bands, handles, and bandouliere strap)?

I think they just need to have on record that you are the new owner. So as long as your SA knows you are in possession of it or if you take it with you when requesting the replacement, you should be fine.
