Hello, I have the same issue as you:smile:...I have a sentimental Keepall that was passed down in my family. The leather is drying out and I can see where the the leather is tearing where the D-ring is; and the leather on the bag is cracking. The $750 you were quoted in December, was that for every single piece of leather on the bag (including the piping, chapes, bands, handles, and bandouliere strap)?
i don't have the bandouliere, but i'm having the handles, bands, and the tabs at either end replaced.

I just got a new speedy padlock lock and key replacement from LV, was charged $67 Canadian (plus tax will be additional).
I went into the usual LV I frequent this weekend to inquire about buying a new lock and key. The SA told me it costs $120 usd!

I feel like going back another time and asking someone else. She didn’t seem so certain…

Howdy! I too was shocked at the zipper replacement quote price. I was quoted $265 for my nomade Lockit zipper. I also needed my round coin purse zipper fixed too, and was also quoted $265. I decided to just get my Lockit fixed. I’ll worry about my coin purse later.
Just to close the loop on this, I got my Lockit back, and the repair center did a beautiful job. I know they just replaced the zipper, but my bag feels softer, almost like they conditioned it or something. Also they put it in a new dust bag and a huge LV box with a lovely handwritten thank you note. I’m still not happy with paying $265 for a zipper replacement, but how they packaged my bag has softened the blow a bit for me.

I dropped my Mahina Hina PM off to have the magnetic closure replaced, as the magnet has always been weak and it has never stayed closed. Purchased the bag in 2020.

I was quoted $200, 4-5 months.

I wasn’t able to make an appointment using their online system. I simply walked in and asked for a CA that could help with repairs. This was in the BH boutique.

Let’s see how long it takes…the CA said the repairs will happen here in California, so I’m hopeful it won’t be too long.
I also prefer to just drop off an item for repair as opposed to using their online system. I feel more secure with in-person transaction.

I definitely think they do a little extra TLC. I had the leather tab on a pochette accessories replaced and was pleasantly surprised they replaced the zipper pull and cleaned the interior up some.

LV just let me know my bag is ready! Exactly one month after drop off, after they had said it would be months!! I’m very excited and very happy with their service. Not only is there no fee, but the speedy service makes me a LV fan once again.

I’m located in Los Angeles and this was for a magnetic closure replacement.
