how much does LMB charge for just handles? (cleaning darkened handles)

Hi, I received my Balenciaga first bag bought on e-bay yesterday. It is from 2007, and probably used quite a lot, i think. The leather on the top back of the bag is very soft, it feels thin. There seem to have been a fold when the bag has been used, and that the leather is worn from this. The handles also seem very soft, and not ferm. Is this extremly soft leather normal for a Bbag? Should I try to do somerthing about it, or is this what a used Bbag is like? The color of the bag, however, is perfect, no wear.

OMG... I have the same problem and was trying to do a search on the solution but not successful. I will email LMB and see if they can do something about it. They do a good job but it just takes a very long time. If I find anything I will let you know.

Someone told me Artbag in New York will replace the leather edging all the way around the sides of the bag. I'm not certain, so you might ask them.

hello my 2006 bal black city bag the handles aare very beat! the string/yarn to tiw up the handles are all reipped and the leather is broken. can this all be fixed? thank you

I'm so sad about my 2006 Grenat City which I bought from the Balenciaga Boutique in 2008. I have used it a ton, but I dunno what to do about all this. I do know that Grenat in general had a problem with the lining of the bag being white and not having all the color saturated, but can it be fixed, along with the piping being worn off? The handles have gotten very dark too which is strange since I make sure to never hold it after putting lotion on. Guess it's inevitable when using it so many times. Where do you think I should I send it to be restored?

so disappointed but the other day while on a plane ride from florida to new york...one of the handles to my violet city broke. thank god i still have both ends of the screw. does anyone know where i can get this handle fixed? what an infuriating thing to happen to me while i was in transit.
