Rejuventating, Repairing or Restoring Your Balenciaga

I've read LMB does great job restoring the handles for around $50.

Not sure about the pony hair. It's not like they can be "reseeded" into the leather.

I lost 2 hardwere in my tweegy bag. Called the shop who sels Bbags in Brussels, they told me to call Balenciaga in Paris..Well, before i have to deal with thoses snobish guys, is there anywhere i can buy them? in the USA the service is much better than in Europe...

hi! i had a hard time searching and couldn't find exactly what i was looking for.
i have an anthracite hobo that i got second hand and noticed that the leather that is partly lined on the inside of the front pocket is darker and shinier looking than the leather that is on the outside of the hobo. i figure it is because of regular wear. does anyone have any advice on how to make it darker or shinier again?
i read about lovin my bags, but was wondering if there was a diy alternative? tia!

im in the process of organising a layaway for a black 2005 city but as you can see the handles are badly damaged. Can they be repaired at all?

I have a ? I bought a gris fonce twiggy with handles from H...! the owner abused her and then I didn't see how bad she was until she arrived in my custody. My monitor didn't show how black the handles were compared to the gray bag!!!!Do you thing LMB can restore??

They should be able to. Check out the before/after thread. I heard Orange TKO works as well. You'll have to search around the Ref Library a bit -- there are many threads on handle cleaning. There are threads on home remedies as well.

I was looking at this MU which is for sale at a local site here in Denmark. I like the colour but the leather is very worn, especially on the upper part of the front - see pics. Do you think this can be saved with moisturizer and shine restore? (I have the LMB Balenciaga kit) - or is it beyond saving? Sending it to LMB is not an option because I am in Europe and with postage and what LMB would charge it would cost too much to make it worth it - so I would only consider buying it if I thought it could be saved with some DIY...

I got this poor beauty yesterday

She has red stains,blue (makeup i guess) and a rip, 1 cm.
I have no LMB, it is much to expensive to have it send to denmark.
So now I have bought some lipuid silkwash, hope it will take some of the dirt, would that be a safe thing to try ??.

is it possible to get it sent to Balenciaga, as it's missing studs and some straps!

i'd love to get it done up... any advice on how much this would cost??

I can't tell you how much it would cost (it could get pricey, depending on the damage), but ask Barbara at LMB for some help (see my reply to the thread you started elsewhere).

The same thing happened to one of my bags. I brought it back to NM and they sent it out for repair. Came back good as new. Come to think of it, also happened to a bag I purchased from BalNY and they repaired as well and it never happened again.

Thanks so much! I can'y believe i found one! for £2! to be honest i bought because i liked the style and recognised good leather, and only when i got home i realised it was balenciaga!

i've contacted Barabara, and am awaiting reply.
