aloha rag totally sent me a defected bag, but i couldn't return it cux they want me to take a pic of it first, n the places that are 'not normal' were to small, so it doesnt' even come out in the pic. at first i thought it was ok, cux it wasn't something SUPER big. but after 2 wear, i noticed that one of the thread that holds the handle to the bag has came off. I am freaking out. there's a tiny little hole near the handle part, and i'm so scared the threads will all come out gradually. if i send it into repair, where do i send it to? how much is it? and i read somewhere i have to send it to paris?.. won't there be customes also then?

HELP!

No, if you want to get warranty repair I think you would have to send it to Aloha Rag who would then send it to Balenciaga NY on your behalf and the repair should be free. I'm not sure if you'd be responsible for the shipping costs in that case.

Or you could just skip the warranty repair thing and send it straight to Balenciaga NY. Usually BalNY does not charge much for repairs (but of course you'd have to pay shipping as well, so it adds up).

Actually I'm not even sure I know what you mean - I was just telling you what the procedure would be for getting it repaired. Can you take a photo? Course, I don't know if you'll ever see this message now that your thread has been merged into this "rejuvenation" thread....I hope that moderators always let the original poster know when they merge a thread like this. The only reason I know is because I left the original thread on my screen and then went to do something else for a couple of hours, came back and refreshed my screen to see if there had been any responses and was thrown into this thread (and thoroughly discombobulated). ;)

:crybaby:
my white Bbag looks abit discolourated, abit yellowish...what can i use or wipe it to look purer, whiter?

i call up the staff and asked they said they do not recommand their customers to use anything...i am helplessss.....

You can do a search on this topic, it has been discussed before :) I know lighter colors are prone to yellowing but maybe you can find some tips. For dirt, I found lovin' my bags stuff very useful. Good luck.

Ladies! I finally found a product that will SAFELY remove the oils from your dark, dirty bbag handles! :yahoo:

It's all natural (100% organic), and will not hurt the leather. You won't believe the results, I swear! It's intended for household use, but when the guy said that it removes oils, I immediately thought of my bbag.

I convinced my local distributor to put up an auction on eBay later. Look for an auction by "a1faro" tonight.

Will post before and after pics of my -black handled-Bordeaux City ASAP.

It doesn't dry out the leather any more than a mild leather cleaner, and it removes only the slightest amount of pigment.

Check out before and after:

Yup, it had to happen. One of my lip gloss tubes busted in the heat, the oil from the lip gloss soaked through the cotton lining and made 3 dark round spots on my beloved Lilac City. :crybaby::crybaby: I tried the Appleguard cleaner but it didn't help much, and on top of that it kinda made the leather around the spots discolored a bit. The spots are not huge and they are on the back of the bag but compared to the light color of Lilac they are definitely eye sores!!!

Any idea how I can make the spots lighter? I don't expect them to go away completely.... Thanks!
