I found some instructions on the Internet on how to remove oil stains on leather and tried it. It worked! The spots are not as dark anymore (they are more than half way reduced, with the exception of the texture of the leather around the spots being a bit stretched, from the light rubbing). From a few feet away you can't really tell! Now I just have to apply some conditioner over the area to give it a lot of TLC!

Disclaimer - try this at your own risk. 1) moist the spot with a damp cloth - best to use a Qtip if you want precision. 2) use a very mild soap like Dove or in my case I used Neutrogena rainbath liquid soap, dab a tiny amount on the spot, dab it with the Qtip gently and repeatedly. 3) remove the soap residue with a damp cloth. Repeat another time if necessary but wait until the spot is dry so you can see if you need to do it again.

Hi I am a very new member here and especially to b-bags! I have a bubblegum city, and its cracked, faded and has some color loss. What do you girls suggest I do? I want the MOST trustworthy and resonable method. Does the company themselves do repairs? Or could I take it to Nemains or something? THANKS!!

Help! I just discovered a 1.5cm rip along the cracks on the back near the handles of my city. I bought it when I was holidaying in NY and I'm actually living in Asia. What should I do? I just bought it 2 months ago and feel really upset that this happened in such a short time!!

Has anyone ever had to have any of the hardware on their bag replaced or repaired? I'm wondering if it's possibl to replace the little pyramid shaped cone parts...for some reason I can't think of the name they are called. LOL.

If this is possible, any idea how much it would cost?

I have many scratches on the back of my money wallet. Does anyone else have this problem? I guess it's from rubbing against other items in my bag. Is there any solution for this other than rubbing lotion into the scratches? If this is the only way to remove them, should I use Applegarde, or will any brand do?

I've got a quick question for you b'bag pros: I'm considering buying a b'bag that has been really well-loved. I'm not too worried about the dirt -- LMB can clean up anything. I am worried about the wear on the piping, though. Does anybody know if that is repairable as well?

TIA!

Has anyone actually changed the color of their Bbag??? I was jsut wondering if you are not concerned about resale....would you dye...let's say a dirty white bag black????

Having had some disasters when dyeing clothes, I would have a nagging worry that the stitching thread might come out a different colour / depth of shade to the leather.

Hmmm... hadn't thought of that!!! This is hypothetical...but asking because I have a light colored bag that looks great right now...but you never know later on! I once took a nude leather Prada bag to be cleaned at a very high-end shop here that mends shoes and bags...and they told me that once it became dirty...I could just dye it another color. So I was wondering if anyone had done this!
