Can anyone recommend a scarf with a writing or book theme? I love Bibliotheque, but I've only seen it in pocket square size. Thanks!

How about:

Hi everyone,
Am new to this forum and wondered if any of you may be able to help.
Trying to find any info on a Hugo Grygkar scarf 'Le Bois De Bologne' 1957.
I have seen it on another site in 3 cws, salmon, sky and green.
Does anybody know if it was ever made in a gold cw?
It is so hard to find any info about this scarf!

Thanks so much

It's "Boulogne", not "Bologne" but since as far as I know this vintage design hasn't been reissued, and even googling the correct spelling does not bring up much information. I'm sorry, but I can't tell you more, and unfortunately I've never seen this wonderful scarf IRL. There are a lot of lovely old designs in the Hermès archives just begging to be set free!

Hello everyone,
could one of you confirm that "au coeur de la vie" has been issued in silk mousseline 90 cm, white border as well... I cant find it in a database but would think it is more or less recent but it does not show up on the Hermès different sites.

Could you help ? TIA :flowers::flowers::flowers:

Yes, confirmed - such a beautiful scarf! The Hermès site(s) only show(s) whatever can be ordered for purchase online.

Thankyou Markova this scarf is proving to be rather elusive!!
One other question for you that you may be able to answer. Would a vintage scarf ever measure 86cm square and not 90cm?

Thank you

I've seen quite a few that were smaller than 90cm, but unfortunately can't give you an exact time line. This would be a project for more research. All the newer scarves are 90cm square, except for the "vintage silk" line, which are 70cm.

I'm not entirely sure how many trips this scarf may have had to the dry cleaners so perhaps that may account for its smaller size!
Its getting rather late here now in London, so I shall say 'Goodnight', but thank you so much for your help

Normal dry cleaning would not account for shrinkage, and it's late in Switzerland too! Nighty-nite!
