The theme is definitely reminiscent of Linares but I have not seen one of his designs on jacquard fabric (the little sturrups) or his signature or "Hermes.Paris" imprinted on the scarf this way before. I am going to have to defer to someone else on this- if it is authentic, then sure, you should be able to sell it even with the damaged hems and stains and lack of care tag. I would post this in the "Authenticate this Scarf" thread to get more information.

Q: Why even try to sell this? It's got torn hem, faded color, stains, etc. Seems like a waste of time. Maybe u can find something in better condition to sell.

That's true...I have no idea if this scarf is authentic and I am not a Linares fan, but there's at least one vintage design (50+ years old and never reissued) that I'd be happy to have in practically any condition, at the right price.

Can anyone help? I am trying to find the name of the scarf (or the scarf itself!) which looked like the sails or spinnakers of old fashioned boats, and the one in particular that I remember was a pale blue-ish purple, with cream or white, and the sails all had a fairly linear or etched appearance.

My guess is that it was around 2003, but I could be wrong.
Anyone remember this one?
