I am no expert. New 4 year collector. I also don’t know the vintage way of things, but I thought coloring outside the lines ( like in an obvious detailed design not modern) was a sign of a fake. The process itself of the screening process has been the same so why would a vintage be outside the lines in so many places.
I did go down a rabbit hole on eBay where the becanes are plentiful and I will say there is lots of variation between utterly precise design lines and coloring, and not. Are all the becanes with color outside the lines fakes. Yikes scary if so. So like Ashanti said, ask an authenticator to be sure. I would.
Example of precise gear in blue border. Also notice up higher in the pic where the red spikes of wheel thing go against the blue gear you can see a wee bit of white backround between those design elements. Just those two tiny white blobs. That is detail you look for in an authentic silk.

Some scarves I found on reputable site like https://carredeparis.com/products/les-becanes-hermes-silk-scarf-1970s-issue have same issues but mine is worst with lot of out line color.

Thank you, I did some research on other item online and found that this design has a lot a color errors like this but mine is worst, yet I am worried about authenticity but other than that, this scarf is ok.
It's called registration errors in printing, and with older printing methods sometimes one color did not line up properly. Each color is applied separately, in sequence, and allowed to dry before the next color was applied. As has been said, for a vintage scarf this is not necessarily a sign that it is a fake. For a modern scarf, this error should not happen, although I have seen examples of where there were sections of a color missing. These scarves should not get through quality control.

Hi! Looking back at a line of gavroches from the late 2000s to early 2010s, the Chinese zodiac "L'année du ____" (Dragon, Serpent, Rat, etc): does anyone know if they made a goat/sheep/ram year one? If so, does anyone know the name? I tried searching for goat, chèvre, bouc, mouton, but have not had any luck. Thank you!

I am sorry - this scarf is not an authentic Hermes. I can’t publicly tell you why, feel free to PM me.
