Well, take my opinions with a grain of salt - they are only opinions

Claudia had some designs that came in unusual/odd/unatttractive colors . I have always loved Musique des Dieux but some of the cws are hard to work with

MdS falls into a certain category for me - love the design but dislike many of the cws

Magie was another that came in sepulchral tones - deep deep wine and dark dark browns and oranges
Hi,

Sure I will. I will check those out too. I have a very small silk collection and whenever I have time, I would visit here and always go away with new knowledge/discovery of my favorite silk. :smile1:

{I want to make sure that every scarf I buy nowadays is something that I like and I would wear.}

In 1996 (the year of Musique des Dieux), the Hermès theme was "music," was it not? Ballets Russes, La Musique des Spheres, New Orleans Creole Jazz, Salzburg.

Is there a set number of scarves that Hermès devotes to the theme of the year, or does it vary from year to year? I know (from Seton's blog) that the 2014 theme was Metamorphosis, but as I review the 2014 carrées, I can't find too many scarves that relate to the theme of change. Mythes et Metamorphoses, of course, and Zebra Pegasus; any others that you think fit the theme?

Came by for a look see, and saw this post.

You cold also add in Super H (sorry, Minuit au F- I just call it SuperH for short now). Horse changes to superhero.

I guess also many the CH Fleurs et Papillons scarves/twillies, since the butterflies were made out of paper fans? (morphed?)

PdV might fit in the sense that the traditional idea of gypsy culture is that they don't linger, but move about a lot, no fixed place, always changing. ??? (reaching here....)

Thanks for the info, neighbor! I wonder if they still have it at "our" boutique? I should call my SA.

Do you find you wear it a lot? Does the green "pop" nicely against the blue?
Actually I purchased in Waikiki last april. Havent been to our boutique in awhile, but it wouldnt hurt to contact your SA. they might be able to transfer from another store.

I have that one - I would NOT say the green pops, nor do any of the colors, it is a watery cw

The green is not a bright EMERALD - the picture with the tag actually shows the wateriness of the colors best. The coral and purple dont pop either

And it has a white Contrast Hem - dirt magnet?

But it ties very differently along the 2 biases, which I absolutely love

I hadn't realized that it had a white contrast hem. Dirt magnet for sure!

I'm with you, though, on loving scarves that tie differently on the two biases. Thank you for the photos... "watery cw" is an excellent description.:smile1:
