I bought this a few weeks ago. It was a spur of the moment purchase. The price was good and bing was at 10%. The seller shipped it parcel post which took forever getting here. While I was waiting for it to get here, I was having second thoughts & thinking that maybe I wouldn't keep it since it wasn't a planned purchase. But I don't know - since it's gotten here, there's something "oddly" charming about the bag. The leather's super, super soft, and it's even lined with leather! It's very lightweight and the seller threw in an extra set of tassels, so I hung 'em on there...

This collection actually wasn’t wildly popular at the time. A lot of these bags made it to the sale racks and outlet stores

I’ve found I’m really drawn to a solid colored bag with interesting little accents or hardware or fun features so this collection is cool to me, so it’s sad there aren’t too many on the resale sites now. I’ve found one or two here and there but I’ll keep my eye out for one I really like. Thanks again ❤️

Nice! That old MJ hardware really can be heavy, huh? I’m finding that with some mid-2K’s Coach bags I’ve recently picked up. Solid weighty hardware. I like that the studs have some wear on them. The canvas too. It feels right for this bag

It's chipped paint and it's actually part of the design! There were red and beige versions of this bag made and they have the chipped paint detail too. TRR priced it for $80 because of this, citing major scuffing on the hardware. The original retailed for $695 in fall 2006 and was a boutique exclusive!

It also has a stunning leather lining!! If I hadn't just bought a third Marc bag this week I'd pick it up for myself 😅😅

After really a loooong wait, this bag is here and I love it 😍. The leather has a great texture, leather is thin, chain massive and overall, the bag is not light. But it’s sort of wild and I love it. And the green shoulder strap- cool!! And most importantly: it’s fits to my hoodie 😆

This colour is so gorgeous! It reminds me of the coveted apple green Balenciaga city bag, though this shade of green is a bit deeper.

Here with a couple new (to me) purchases.

Ended up getting the Spring ‘09 tassel bag @rebeccaerin shared (thank you!). Leather lining really is stunning. The shape is a little funny bc it’s so flat(?) so feels like might be odd to carry. Face also kinda reminds me of a blob fish 😅


Another one that came in that I think might be my second favorite of all the recent acquisitions (Daria is still #1 - funny enough both are Fall ‘05). Fabric lined but seems like it was never really used. Love the giant buckle.





And that is officially it (this time for real) for a while as my wallet needs to recover and I have to actually WEAR what I have. Thanks for indulging this fun adventure ❤️

these bags have gone down to much in value....good news for buyers
Maybe partly because MJ is no longer making the premiere bags?
When I look at what old Bal bags are selling for compared to MJ, the difference is huge

Old Balenciaga was also going for similar prices before the city revival in the late 2010s
