After posting on this thread I accepted an offer for my 17 B caramel caviar jumbo. I’m not sure why I sold it but was looking for change I guess since it reminded me of a rough patch in my life. They offered me what I paid plus tax. I had bought it tax free so made the extra $ Worked out for me since i was a bit over breaking even. The bag already sold on FP

For the first time ever, I’ve submitted to sell to Fashion phile a seasonal Chanel bag I no longer use. Luckily, they offered me a bit more than what I paid for!

Do you guys send the item you sell to them via UPS/Fedex or do you prefer to drop it off at a Fashionphile showroom? I’m thinking that since the item I am about to sell to them is of high value that I’d rather just drop it off at their showroom so in case the package gets lost in transit it will be solely their responsibility and not mine.

Would love to know your thoughts!

If you can, drop off to them, if it gets lost during transit they are responsible for it, esp. if it's a lot of money. Just for peace of mind and you will sleep better.

I’m from the east coast and shipped two bags to fashionphile last Tuesday. It was scheduled to deliver 3/1 but changes to pending with no other status updates since then. Does anyone ever shipped from the east coast has this happened to them?

Yes, I chose UPS and it took one week. UPS ground does not update on their webpage. Mine was the same and then next day it showed delay by one day. Once delivered, fashionfphle processing for my items was really fast. Chanel was processed on the same day and LV next day.
I chose NM gift card option - make sure to check your spam and dashboard status will change as well.

That makes me feel a little better, I was on edge all day. I’ll give it a day or two before calling FedEx if nothing happens. I shipped to them before but it never gone MIA like this. I had it on auto debit, is it too late to change payout option?

Not sure. I think you can change it before package gets there. I recommend calling fashionphile customer center before you change the payment method.

So I dropped off a bag yesterday at a nearby Fashion phile showroom and the representative told me that price quote could change after it gets reviewed at their main office in California - price quote could go LOWER or higher. I was quite taken a back by this statement because I thought the initial price quote was good enough for me to actually consider selling the bag to them. I’d be really pissed if they end up offering me a lower price quote - just the thought of my bag (in pristine like NEW condition) going from NYC to California and being touched by strangers then receiving a lower price quote in the end ANNOYS me!

It’s my first time ever to sell a purse so this experience with Fashion phile is all new to me. Did anyone experience getting a different price quote (lower or higher) for your bag after it was reviewed by the Fashion phile team in California?

I doubt they will give higher quote. They gave me exact quoted price and it was really fast.
Unless there are significant conditions that were not noticed, I am pretty sure you will get what was quoted.
since your bag is pristine I do not think you will have issues.

I've sold over a dozen bags to Fashionphile and they have never adjusted my price before. I think they would only do so if you grossly misrepresented the condition in your photos and description. I wouldn't worry about it.
