Do you think ppl get better quotes in person or online? Has anyone booked virtual appointment or visited the boutique to get quotes?
I have submitted items but didn’t accept the quote. I had my friend take it in afterwards since I believe they keep track of previous quotes and usually offer you less for subsequent quotes for the same item (per my experience). She was able to get a higher quote for 3 items, $300-$500 above my original quote.
I have gotten significantly higher quotes after resubmitting online. I have also received lower quotes after resubmitting. There are a lot of different factors, including how many of the item they already have in stock, how popular the item is, etc. But for example, I received an offer for a bag that was 1500 usd higher the following month. So it can go either way.

Do the in-person (Neimans) estimates track the online quotes? Was offered $450 for a pristine boy wallet online and not really feeling that quote. Wonder if in-person might offer something more realistic.
